This band has completely won me over. Remember Toad the Wet Sprocket? There's a similar quality to the sensitivity in the lyrics that recalls Toad. But In Flight Safety is their own band, and so have their own strengths and weaknesses. The lead vocalist has a quality to his voice that really grabs you, and the music does, too. I heard these guys on Indie Feed (thanks for playing them- what a find!) and immediately bought the CD. The only thing left to say is "Put out another CD, guys, will ya?! I'm ready for another one now that I've played the hell out of the first one!!"

What Coldplay should sound like,

I'm not a fan of Coldplay, because they strike me as trite, repetitive, and a bit hackish. In-Flight Safety definitely in the same genre as Coldplay, but I think more talented and the music is a bit deeper. These are the guys that should be getting the radio time.

Best CD I Bought in 2007,

After hearing "Surround" on Sirius Radio's Iceberg 95, I immediately set off on a quest to find this CD. For me, In-Flight Safety brings some of my favorite Coldplay to mind, but is much deeper. I can sit and listen to this entire album on my iPod over and over and over and never tire of it.
