This is the best written book on food combining that I have encountered to date. Jan dries has taken the Hays Diet to the next level of incorporating it into the lives of everyone who wants to eat well and feel better. I was able to read and understand the process of digestion and adsorption in uncomplicated everyday language. Jan Dries makes food combining easy and fun!

This book is the best book on food combining that I have read to date. Jan Dries makes food combining easy and understandable for anyone who is fortunate enough to read this book. I was able to see and follow the process of digestion with diagrams that were as simple as any I have seen in a book of this kind. It was succinct and to the point not a drawn out treatise on the subject. Would recommend this book highly to anyone interested in food combining or curious about the subject.

This book has some wonderful recipes in it, but the section on food combining is rather complicated. If you're looking for a simpler book that explains food combining in an easy to understand and easy to follow way then I recommend The Complete Book of Food Combining: A New, Easy-to-Use Guide to the Most Successful Diet Ever instead.

I didn't really enjoy this book; it was too complicated. After reading this book, I was frustrated and went online looking for a time table to tell me how long to wait between meals and I found an excellent chart that explained, what, when and how to combine and eat in a page and a half.
