More About the Author
Howard Massey is a music journalist, musician, and recording engineer/producer who was formerly an editor at Musician and Performing Songwriter magazines.
He is also the author of fifteen books, including two collections of interviews with record producers entitled "Behind The Glass" and "Behind The Glass Volume II." In 2006 he co-authored legendary Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick's memoir "Here, There, and Everywhere." In 2009 he co-authored "When I'm 64," a book about retirement planning (for more information, visit www.whenim64.com), and in 2013 two of his short stories were accepted for publication in the first annual Hudson Valley Writers Workshop anthology, entitled "Renderings." In 2014 another short story was accepted for publication in the second Hudson Valley Writers Workshop anthology, entitled "Ramblings." He has two books scheduled for publication in 2015: "The Great British Recording Studios" (a survey of the iconic English recording studios of the 1960s and 1970s); and his first novel, "Roadie." He is currently working on his second novel.
