Comment: This book has already been well loved by someone else and that love shows. It MIGHT have highlighting, underlining, be missing a dust jacket, or SLIGHT water damage, but over-all itâ?TMs still a good book at a great price! (if it is supposed to contain a CD or access code, that may be missing)

You won't learn any french from this book, but the phrases and illustrations worth the price for anyone who loves cats. The size of this book is much smaller than expected, otherwise it would be a nice coffee table book. The advantage is that you can always keep it in your purse, whenever I feel bored waiting for something, I take it out and read some pages.

This book is simply droll and humorous in a Thurber way of writing.

Anyone who has or likes cats would find it amusing and if they also know some French, it would be even more amusing. The illustrations are also a plus for this book. It would also make a nice addition to a high school curriculum for French. Highly recommended.

I am not a cat person, but I like languages, and wit. This is one of the funniest little books I have come across in a long while. The text is pithy, direct ("I do not like to eat this food!") and the drawings of the cats demonstrating various words and phrases are delightfully simple and yet expressive. This book nails how cats think, as far as I am concerned, and does it while teaching good solid French in word and image. Can hardly wait to get the others!

I love this little book. I first saw it when Frendh for Cats was handed to me at a book club meeting. I missed the next 15-20 minutes of the meeting which I spent chuckling to myself as I read it. The minimalist text combined with the illustrations makes for my favorite sort of humor...where much of the detail is filled in by the reader (or listener).

If you like French and you like cats, this is a perfect hilarious marriage. Full of idioms and uniquely feline humour. Bon appetit!
