This new album is very good...even though alot of it is commercial sounding, its still an awesome album!

This is probably one of the best overall hard rock albums I've ever heard.

I have always held Getting Away with Murder as their best album with Paramour Sessions a close second. I was disappointed in Metamorphosis. Infest is a fun album but overally not one of my favorites. The Connection is basically taking the best elements of all the Papa Roach albums and perfectly putting them together. This is a kickass album from start to finish. They dont let up and put together maybe their most complete album to date.

My early favs are Give Me Back My Life, Where Did The Angels Go, Before I Die, and Leader of the Broken Hearts.

Very good rock album from one of todays best hard rock bands. Dont let their past as a rock/rap band hold you back from giving this album a chance. They have some elements of that on The Connection but for the most part its a hard rock album.

BTW, I know Jacoby is dealing with some throat issues but when this band does tour for this album go see the show. One of the best live shows you will see. Non stop energy and they bring it every time.

Sorry I am a little late on the review, but I wanted to listen to the entire record to give it a fair shake. I didn't realize I would listen to it over a dozen times back to back to back. WOW!!! I am a HUGE PAPA ROACH fan from way back, but this record may be their GREATEST!! I was extremely NERVOUS after viewing the video for the single, "Still Swingin'." I was very SCARED and HUGELY disappointed. After hearing the entire album, I am HAPPY to say I was SO WRONG!! Jacoby lets the audience into his troubled and crumbling real life by penning some of his BEST work to date. The production on this record is AMAZING as well, considering it is being released on ELEVEN SEVEN RECORDS. Jerry lays down some of his heaviest and most melodic riffs to date. The sound on this record is absolutely HUGE!! This shows how well PAPA ROACH continues to deliver AWESOME true to form tracks and yet isn't left in the past re-hashing records filled with "Broken Home" and "Last Resort" sound-a-likes. One of the few bands that stays TRUE to their roots yet evolves with the music of the day. "Were Did The Angels Go" "Walking Dead" "What's Left Of Me" and "9th Life" are my FAVORITE tracks. Be glad YOU got the DELUXE record to get the two BONUS tracks....two of the BEST tracks on the record!! It would have been TOTALLY INSANE if the U.S. deluxe release also included "Set Me Off" as well, but even without the Japanese BONUS track, this record totally KILLS!! If you are into "nu" rock and LOVE the edgy hard rock records Papa Roach has delivered in the years past, I am sure you won't be disappointed!! This ONE is INSANE!!!! A MUST for any PAPA ROACH FAN for sure!!!

Papa Roach evolve their sound a little bit more with each album, but they still know what works for them and hit upon it with abundance on their latest disc `The Connection.'
Singer Jacoby Shaddix said earlier this year, "What `The Connection' means to us, it's our connection to the music. It's the connection of this music to the fans. It's the connection that we make onstage with our music ... It's just this connection that Papa Roach than us sitting in a room jamming. It's larger than life now and we're just the facilitators for that, so it's just painfully obvious that this is what it needs to be."

With that in mind, the band mines the well of interpersonal connections again with their latest record. Shaddix, a master at baring his soul in tracks like `Last Resort,' `Scars,' and `Broken Home,' puts his heart clearly on his sleeve with the standout track `Before I Die.' The song, which incorporates some early piano work before fully rocking out, talks about pushing a loved one away while still feeling the urge to live for them.

And where `Before I Die' is a more painful track, the misnomer `Leader of the Broken Hearts' actually comes off as one of the more triumphant songs on the disc. On it, Shaddix revels in the pain that comes from a broken heart, knowing that even though a relationship has ended, there's an elation that came from putting it all on the line that's made him feel alive like never before.

As Shaddix has stated, `The Connection' is also about the relationship of the music to their fans, and there are a number of rocking tracks on here that should eventually connect on the concert stage. Tony Palermo's `Dr.

I have always been a big Papa Roach fan and just like all their other CD's they do not disappoint. Every song and beat and guitar riff on it is well done. Would recommend this for any Papa Roach fan.

P-Roach's best album since Getting Away With Murder. You can feel every emotion and pain in the lyrics and Shaddix' vocals. It's been awhile since I've loved a P-roach album as much as this one. As far as I remember, Won't let up and Not that beautiful are my faves. Keep on rockin', guys!!

This is Papa Roach's best album since Infest and Lovehatetragedy. I have been a fan since I first saw P-Roach on MTV as a teenager. Infest bred an "in your face" Papa Roach adolescence, that even they could never reclaim. Lovehatetragedy was a step up into corporate territory. After LHT I lost interest in Papa Roach. Every now and then I would hear a single I would purchase, but I felt P-Roach got drown out in the evolving world of hard rock. The Connection is a come back album for Jacoby and the rest of the band. It brings back the bands roots, and made me realize what I enjoyed from P-Roach in the beginning. If you are a P-Roach fan you will not be disappointed with this album. Its one album that is worth your money! Go see them live. They will not disappoint you!
