This easy to read pamphlet reminds us that the Sheriff is the supreme law enforcement authority in every county or parish of these United States. In it Richard Mack shows irrefutable evidence from case law, common law, the Constitution, and common sense that the People's protector is the ONE they actually elect. The Sheriff promises to serve, to protect, and to defend them from all enemies, both foreign and domestic. Sheriffs are the only people who can call the militias (in the truest sense of the word) which is a group of citizen volunteers like the posses, into service for a particular outcome. As such, the Sheriff is the only locally elected official who has the jurisdiction, the authority, and especially the duty to protect the citizens from threatening federal entities or federal agents. The Sheriffs has local sovereignty to uphold the Constitution.

In the case Mack/Prince versus the United States, Justice Scalia told the Federal Government, "The Federal Government may neither issue Federal directives requiring the States to address particular problems, nor command the States' Officers or those of their political subdivisions, to administer or enforce a Federal regulatory program." So, the question is, does nationalized health care qualify as a Federal regulatory program? The answer is that the States and the local authorities and jurisdictions do NOT have to participate in Obama's nationalized health care program. Such commands are FUNDAMENTALLY incompatible with our constitutional system of dual sovereignty.

This book is excellent! I would highly recommend it for every American, especially those in law enforcement.

After reading a review slandering Sheriff Mack's grammar, I had concerns. Thankfully I bought it and read it for myself! There is nothing to worry about. This is something you can hand your Sheriff to read with confidence and a smile on your face.

With the onslaught of bad news in our country, this book is a breath of fresh air.

Did this book meet and exceed my expectations? ABSOLUTELY!!

This author was a conscientious citizen who knew the laws of his country. He relates his story in a very easily read format. He also explains how the constitution protects our rights. In his explanation, he tells how he protected his own rights. Great read...short.....but compact.

This book would be a great gift for your local sheriff, that is what I am going to do with the copy I ordered. It also expressed my views on many things in this country that need to be addressed.

This was an excellent booklet about the responsibilty we all have to know and uphold the Constitution. I hope and pray that every sheriff, law enforcement officer, and citizen in our country reads this and takes it to heart. There is a possiblity to restore our republic and protect the principles of liberty that our country was founded upon. "We the people" must act! "Freedom is the sure possession of those alone who have the courage to defend it." Sheriff Richard Mack

Sure, Sheriff Mack may not be a professional writer, but he is a true American, one who understands what Liberty is and what tyranny looks like.

We all owe him our utmost gratitude for him helping lead the fight against federal tyranny.

Power tends to corrupt. Once in power and "authority", most men are predisposed to immediately begin to exercise their authority over others. The scope of their power, governmental power, will continue to grow until the oppressed (you and me, people like Richard Mack) say, "Stop! You don't have the authority to do what you're doing!" It is our duty to draw the line, to speak up, and say, "Respect the law." Otherwise corruption would grow, and we'd have, well, what we have now.

In the case of federal usurpation of power, the recourse for oppressive laws which rob us Americans of our natural rights is the States, and at a micro level - the County Sheriff. The Founders designed it this way. Genius they were!

In this pamphlet, we learn that the County Sheriff has authority to tell any federal agency (like the EPA, OSHA, FDA, IRS, FBI, USFD, USDA, etc.) that they cannot do their unconstitutional business in their county, that these agents must first get permission, and if they proceed with trying to enforce unconstitutional "law", that the Sheriff and his deputies may and will arrest them.

This book is the blueprint for preserving and, now at this time in our history, REGAINING our lost freedoms.

Richard Mack is a true American hero. I'm grateful for his leadership, and politically-incorrect courage.

I purchased two copies of this book. I have read it and plan to read it again before passing the copies along to two candidates running for Sheriff in my County. I never knew what powers were delegated to our Sheriff's until I read this book. There are a few grammatical errors, but I just overlooked them and kept reading. Thanks Sheriff Mack.
