Richard does it again with another "feel good" story about love, family and life lessons. He does an excellent job of weaving in characters that started in his first book, "Meant to Be" but here they have grown into adults. If you are looking for a nice read that leaves you in a good mood and feeling positive check out "The Couples". You won't be disappointed.

Richard lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with his wife, Carolynn. They are the proud parents of three wonderful adult sons.

After careers in manufacturing management and firmware development, this Vietnam combat and 101st Airborne Division veteran has started a career as an author. His interests range from mathematical analysis and photography to anything with an engine. His current projects include writing his fourth novel. Having completed a potting bench for his life partner, Carolynn, he is busy discovering the properties of functions of p-adic numbers, plus driving her to see salmon runs, National Parks, and anywhere that provides an opportunity to view her avian friends.

Richard does it again with another "feel good" story about love, family and life lessons. Just fell short of five stars. I loved the main 3 couples in this book. The were so human, believable and likeable. I enjoyed the way the author introduced each couple and then switched among their stories. At first when a chapter would end and he'd switch to another couple I would be upset because I'd been so engrossed, but he would quickly pull me into the next couple. However, towards then end there were just too many characters and it became a little hard to keep track of who some of the secondary characters were.
I definitely plan to buy more from this author; this is one of the few books I will keep.
