I think this is an excellent resource for music educators. I love this book, because it has a great story line, fun pictures, and a beautiful melody. This is one of my favorites. It can be used in a Kindergarten classroom, or a 5th grade class room and all students love it. Great for teaching the Dorian mode. Beautifully written and illustrated.

This book is so great! I use it in my music classroom for kindergarten and first graders. They love the story and enjoy singing along with the refrain. I also enjoy the melody. Also, has very nice pictures. I only wish I had bought the one with the CD

I use this with my primary students. The illustrations are wonderful and Jill Trinka's voice on the recording is perfect for the song.
