About the Author

Keith Sutton is an outdoor writer, photographer, editor, and lecturer. His stories and photographs have been featured in more than 350 outdoor magazines, scientific journals, newspapers, and websites. A fantastic subject crappie fishing,when you get the expert to write down his or her knowledge,its never lost,so crappie wins all,a great book for the experienced angler and the novice,but what a great place to start fishing for the young ones,you never forget that first fish and the excitement you experience,I live in the UK and will be taking this book along the next visit to crappie country.here we fish for game fish to unfortunately not the crappie,just Atlantic salmon and trout,heirs some information in a book called Game fishing:salmon,trout,by flies, spinners,or worm (Game fishing:salmon,trout,sea trout,by flies, spinners,or worm) this will help if you visit here.

I have read several other books on the subject and watch many DVD's. This book covered everything about Crappie Fishing that I was looking for. It is the ultimate learning guide. Can't say enough about how pleased I am. Just need to "add water". Thanks!!!!!!

I'm simply amazed at the author's in-depth research into crappie behavior and habitats. Every season and technique is covered in this informative book. Even the photos are pleasing and often informative. While I devoured this book in two days, it will reside close by, for pre-trip planning. Heck, I may just download it to my Droid for use on the boat.
