Book Description

March 18, 2012
New York, USA – The Cross of Bethlehem II — Back in Bethlehem by Ro’i Tov seeks to reveal life in Israel as a Christian Israel Defense Force (IDF) officer– from human rights violations to the use of an extensive network of underground agents. The Cross of Bethlehem II — Back in Bethlehem centers on his recognition as a refugee and his subsequent definition as political prisoner of Bolivia. Tov grew up as an outsider in the tight-knit kibbutz along the Jordan Valley. In The Cross of Bethlehem II — Back in Bethlehem, Tov seeks to share how he was caught between staying steadfast in his Christian faith and remaining obedient to his country’s military. Caught in a military that challenges his spiritual and moral beliefs, Tov achieved the rank of captain while serving in the IDF. When he left Israel and threatened to disclose the details of what he’s witnessed to the world, Tov became a refugee, traveling to Thailand, China, the United States and Bolivia, where he became first a refugee, and afterwards a political prisoner. “There are no other works about Israel from a Christian angle and by an IDF officer,” says Tov. “Israel is in the news daily, and I believe my book gives a refreshing view on the events occurring in Israel.” The book reads independently of Part I, The Cross of Bethlehem - The Memoirs of a Refugee.

If you want to see the reality in and future of the State of Israel this is the
book you must read. The author experienced the real Israel and has lived to tell
about it. The truth is never pretty but America needs to face it and this book
can do that if the reader has an honest and open mind.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Fabulous Read September 15, 2012

Roi Tov's TCOBII is a fabulous read. His life and persecution would make a first rate movie. He tells his saga with a clear moral conscience, and near photographic memory recounting experiences vividly. The story is a combination of travel diary, geography, sermonettes, linguistic lessons, and political commentary with some lighter reprieves, followed by heartache, betrayal and abandonment. It's also a spy thriller from a brilliant mind and compassionate soul; just the type of critic Israel needs and seems to hate. If he is killed, his blood will be on their hands. This and his first book are must reads for Christians who unquestioningly support certain Israeli actions. Roi's persecution and death, if he has some accident, is a testimony to the fact he reveals so well, that Pharisaic/Talmudic/ Kabalistic Judaism rules modern Israel and they still "kill and stone those that are sent to them" --Matthew 23. Only today, a large segment of deluded Christian Zionists lend a hand and stones. (His serious and immediate plight explained in "15 Day Exection Order" at his website:[...]) Michael

5.0 out of 5 stars Christians, Where Are You and Where Have You Been ? September 1, 2012

Never before have I read a story (Cross of Bethlehem I & II) containing so vivid a picture of a man who left his home in Israel and traveled country to country until he was given political asylum in Bolivia and Christian protection for a time, a country that more recently turned him into a political prisoner where Christians alienated, isolated and deprived him of basic human rights and protection from the evil forces of the Israeli Mossad that followed him and attacked him year after year. May all those who have not offered assistance to Mr. Tov remember they may someday be persecuted as well. Compelling story and one that will keep you turning the pages until finished. May God protect Roi Tov.
