Book Description

It's love on the high seas for Dean, a thirty-something bachelor taking his first cruise, hoping for a shipboard romance. On the prowl for the elusive hard-body, he quickly becomes disillusioned, wondering if his expectation of a boatload of beautiful sea nymphs is something found only in travel brochures.

Until he meets Angel.

She is the girl of his dreams, brought to life as a bewitching goddess, ready to engage in every sensual delight. Quickly lured into submission by Angel's seductive charms, Dean is ready to surrender his heart and soul to this provocative beauty.

Until he meets Marcie . . .

This kindle ebook is an adult fiction romance satire laced with humor and edgy situations about relationships and love. Review

First of all, let me say that if you like edgier wit from a first person male perspective then you're in for a treat. . . Dean himself is a paradox and it was refreshing to read a story where the hero is just an average guy. He has a certain mindset about what will bring him his happily ever after and builds up big fantasies that grow even bigger when he has an actual woman in mind. . . I kinda felt sorry for him as one thing after another came along. I feel bad about laughing at several of his mishaps (okay only just a little) and I groaned when he was too trusting. Live and learn, Dean! This was an entertaining read about the misadventures of a single guy on a cruise from an amusing first person male perspective . . . - The Delighted Reader

The author did a wonderful job of giving you a good feel for the characters in this story without the need for a back story on each of them. I am not going to tell you the story but it is worth reading . . . - BookAngelRV

The Cruise was laugh out loud funny for me. Once again Jaye has written the story from a male point of view and pulled it off great. Dean's character made me want to smack him upside the head and yell "What are you thinking?" I give this one 4 stars. The author did a wonderful job of giving you a good feel for the characters in this story without the need for a back story on each of them. The ending just seems fitting for Dean. After everything he went through that just made it perfect and he came full circle in the story just different location. I am not going to tell you the story but it is worth reading. . . It is definitely worth it to find out what happens to Dean at the end. It is so wrong and yet so right! -  The Jeep Diva

5.0 out of 5 stars Rude, crude and sometimes LMAO inappropriate. June 11, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Kudos to the author for telling it like it is! A gutsy, polished story that had me cheering at times for the self-centered Dean--not because he's a misguided and inexperienced Lothario, but for giving us a peek inside the brain of a man who readily admits to a hierarchy of priorities based on youth, appearance, and sex, because, well, he's a man! In the end, though, I think he got what he deserved. Although it might not be suitable for young or immature readers, it's a highly amusing and engaging adult read. Five stars, well deserved!

4.0 out of 5 stars What A Character! January 28, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
Jaye never ceases to amaze me with her wonderful writing and of course she has done it again.

In the beginning we have Dean setting out on a cruise in search of something great, or rather a great body to warm his bed. You get a brief encounter in the beginning of his wonderful brother (I am being completely sarcastic). I could not even get angry with this oaf of a man I could only laugh with brief moments of puzzlement. Really, how can someone be that dreadful?

From there you set sail on a magical cruise where the possibilities begin to present themselves. Now in the middle of a big decision, which way will Dean choose? As the reader, you get a front row seat to this man's foolery and blindness to what is going on.

This book like the others had a wonderful lesson within the pages but I must say I had to laugh at this one. Dean is the center of all my laughter and the ending was epic. For all his promiscuous ways I would say it was fitting. I highly recommend this book and all of her others.

4.0 out of 5 stars Laugh out loud funny August 19, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
*I received this free from the author for the purpose of an honest review*

This story is definitely for adults due to the language and the situations in the story.

The Cruise was laugh out loud funny for me. Once again Jaye has written the story from a male point of view and pulled it off great. Dean's character made me want to smack him upside the head and yell "What are you thinking?"

The author did a wonderful job of giving you a good feel for the characters in this story without the need for a back story on each of them. Dean is a very cocky man who has put on his blinders to good women and is just looking for the perfect, sexy woman. I figured out Angel within a very short time however Dean is blind. Marcie is the other women Dean interacts with and we don't get to know as much about her but I liked her better than Angel.

The ending just seems fitting for Dean. After everything he went through that just made it perfect and he came full circle in the story just different location.

I am not going to tell you the story but it is worth reading so if you have time during a lunch break or maybe just looking for something different or a short read I recommend this. It is definitely worth it to find out what happens to Dean at the end. It is so wrong and yet so right!
