Sound doesn't work, but it IS what I ordered.,

I have Windows XP and was hoping it would be easier to get the game working, but it didn't have any sound. After some online searching, I figured that I can PROBABLY get the sound to work, but I'm disappointed that it will take some effort. I thought I was buying a "later version" of this game, but I guess there was only one version.
