A GREAT book demonstrating "recognition" as the accelerator to the four basics of leadership; goal setting, building trust, communication, and accountability. Filled with supportive stories, examples, and data. I would also strongly suggest the companion "Daily Carrot Principle".

A co-worker told me about this book. I find it has some really nice suggestions. It seems to be more geared towards managers as apposed to how to enhance your career, but the information is interesting and for the most part, helpful.

This book has a lot of great ideas on how to keep yourself and your employees engaged. Most of it is material that we all know it's just good to get a daily reminder, I like to start my day with it.
