More About the Author

This brief biography will give a little detail about the style and substance of my influences. From a couple of reviews, I think that people may be looking for something along the lines of Fifty Shades of Grey, but the content of my books tends to be much darker. In terms of literature, some of the relevant authors are Octave Mirbeau, the Marquis de Sade, John Webster, John Ford, and J. G. Ballard, and depending on my mood my filmic entertainment will run to TaKashi Miike and David Cronenberg.

And of course the photo isn't me - but I do have more than my fair share of exquisite cufflinks, though I prefer long ties: much easier to bind up a pair of elegant wrists.

From readers' reviews:

"Let me put it this way, if it were made into a movie Quentin Tarantino would be in charge." (Goodreads, June 8, 2012)

"What a kick-ass story! This is a very dark m/f slave fic... An awesome subversion of the genre. Nice nods to both American Psycho and the classic Story of O." (Goodreads, June 15, 2012)

"This one really caught my attention and wouldn't let it go." (Goodreads, June 8, 2012)

"I didn't like the book - way too far over on the sadistic (and fetish) side for me - but it was a compelling read." (Goodreads, June 6, 2012)

"The characterizations are wonderful and not heroic by any means--these are not protagonists that you are going to love, but like a car wreck keep you spellbound." (Goodreads, May 31, 2012)

"More sick fetishes than I knew existed... Just buy it - you won't be disappointed." (Amazon, September 5, 2011)

"This is a dark read, well-written, but brutal and almost sadistic/humiliating, to me, a 'normal' female, but not to Maria, the female lead in this tale." (Amazon, 11 May, 2012)

The Dancer was a dark romance and portrayed the world of becoming a ballet dancer with all the passion, pain and sacrifice that a great dancer makes to become brilliant. Both the teacher and pupil join in the pain of the process to produce Swan Lake into a brilliant production. The greatness of this read is in the details as they unfold, so enjoy a good read about their passion. I highly recommend this book.

This is a little like the black swan. It is sad and dark but very well written. I am a fan of dark erotica and this was spot on. Will look for other things by this author.
