My girls (8 and 10) and their friends have really enjoyed this game in the couple of days they've been playing it. This has been their favorite Wii game this Christmas and they are playing it over all their other Wii games (Super Mario Galaxy, Wii Sports Resort). They like doing the tasks and quests. Note that only one player at a time can play the game, this isn't a multi-player game.

However, there is one glaring deficiency with this game: Even though the game lets them select their own avatar, the game only has a single save slot; that is, each player can't set up their own avatar and save their own progress (as they can in, say, Super Mario Galaxy or Wii Sports Resort). Let that sink in. If you have two kids who want to play this game, they can't progress through it independently, they have to share a player. If your kids are good at sharing (or if you have a boy and a girl), you shouldn't have a problem. Otherwise, be warned that you may have to mediate.

My daughter and I had a really good time playing this game together. Some of the games were really tough to beat, like tetherball. We never won that one. You get to create things, grow things, etc and sell them at a price you set. It's great! I wish the game had more levels for continued play. I loved all the history, quotes and fun trivia that they included as part of the game. We would love to see more games like this.

We bought Daring Girls for our Granddaughter, 6 y/o. She loves it. We had bought Dog Island and it seemed to move slowly and lacked interesting things to do. Daring Girls is packed with fun and learning opportunities. Highly Recommend.

It is so hard to find a game for our little girl that the rest of us can stand -- but this one is great. Not only does our 6 year old daughter like it, but our 9 year old son helps her. And it is not obnoxious, princess-y, or shrill -- definitely a good purchase.

My 6 y/o daughter picked this game out of a bargain bin at a local electronics store. I didn't know what to expect, but it looked like it would be fun for her age, so we bought it. She loves playing it a lot, even after finishing it once. She likes searching for things (birds, elements, etc) and trying the challenges. The problem I have with the game is that a lot of the features are anti-climactic. It promises achieving the ultimate goal of going on a big adventure, but its really just a way to end the game with a bunch of pictures of the character on an adventure and then the credits role. We really thought she would get to do something in the finale. She didn't seem to mind it that much, but she was confused when the game ended rather abruptly. To be honest, so was I.

I bought this game for Christmas for my kindergartener a few years ago. I bought it because it reminded me of Girl Scouts a bit and she was a Daisy, at the time. At that point, she couldn't read very well and her motor skills still needed perfected, so I had to help her with this game. She loved the game, then, and still loves the game, today (she is now 8)!! It is very well designed! There are so many things for the DARING GIRL to do to complete. And it makes her feel proud of herself!! There's gardening, a "lemonade" stand, finding elements, trivia for strong girls, "strong girl" quotes, a cave to find treasure, crafts to make, and even more things I can't think of at the moment!! I give it 5 stars out of 5 stars!!

My 8-year-old really likes this game. She won the tetherball game after trying, waiting, and then trying again, and now easily wins (the trick is to wait until the ball is almost past you before swinging). The only think she doesn't like so far is that some items are very expensive to buy (e.g. a backpack for $1000). Overall, she really likes it.

As others said, it would be nice if the quotes would stay on-screen a little longer, too. Some of them are pretty good!
