One of the Most Beautiful Songs Ever,

If it's possible to wear out an MP3, I'm doing it. I'm not crazy about Dido's new album, but "The Day Before The Day" is quite possibly one of the most beautiful songs ever written, and I've been listening to music since the 1960s. It's beautiful on so many levels, all I can say is that even if you only buy the album for this song, it's worth it.
Of course, you can just buy the MP3, and be done with it. If this song isn't released as a single, or get mass airplay, it'll be a crime. It could never get played out. It's haunting, sad, mesmerizing, addicting, spine-tingling, and just absolutely perfect in every way. Easily the song of the year. |
