5.0 out of 5 stars Best Stroke Book Ever Written, August 27, 2004
This review is from: The Devil's Advocate (Paperback)
Except for the many typos, the 1997 Masquerade edition of the classic porn-for-hire novel, THE DEVIL'S ADVOCATE, is the most effective, best written stroke book ever. Not the best porn book -- that honor goes to Philip Jose Farmer's LOVE SONG (1970) recently released in a 100-copy print run by Ramble House books -- but the best pound-for-pound, thrust-for-thrust blood pumper that ever blackened paper. It's so good I made a private copy for myself -- and fixed all the typos.

5.0 out of 5 stars Skillfully written erotica, September 29, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: The Devil's Advocate (Paperback)
If you are looking for erotica with style and substance stop here and pick up this book. The description of the psychological is as good as the description of physical sex. The hero is a true villain but the reader roots for him as he makes the other characters, principally the young innocent jump through his hoops. Sort of a Dashell Hammet hero gone completely bad.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super Good Read, May 11, 2011
This review is from: The Devil's Advocate (Paperback)
Can't believe more people haven't read or reviewed this book. For years this book was my dirty little secret, now I'd like to share it with all and any who happen to be pent up in the bedroom. Or wherever you get your rocks off this will help.A lot of firsts with this one, some better left unmentioned. This was the first erotica novel I was intoduced to(from my mothers bookshelf mind you) and anything else I've read since then has no comparrison. None such a book has ever turned me on so much, with every sentence how could it with such a great writer behind this amazing tale. This book has somthing for everyone, an imagination to boot I was left wondering nothing but where to find a private place to restart my lessons in lust. This book contains mountains of fantasy to relish in, and that I did. Over and over again I spent hours relieving tension to one of the greatest erotic novels of all time. I can only hope this book does for you what it most definately did for me. :) Can't wait to buy it for a few new friends of mine
