This was a special horse, no doubt about it. He had both personality and talent which he shared with everyone he met.
As a lifelong horse lover, I can recommend this book to anyone who has ever thought about what it might be like to have a horse in the backyard.

As a horse lover, (horse gene), all my life it was fun to read the diary. I have never known or owned a horse from the beginning so I found the diary interesting and comical with this guys antics and accomplishments. I was only sadden to begin reading in past tense. We want our horses to go on forever.
