I have always had success with walking a lot, and not eating much. I would get fat, then lose weight, then back and forth over 30 years. This book provided me with a much better understanding of the various kinds of diets and programs out there. I'm giving some of them a try.

With so many diet programs out there today it is bewildering which one is best. This book takes a different approach and saves people lots of time by comparing many of the more popular and not so popular programs available today. I like the fact that the author understands that each person is different with different situations. What works for one person may not work for another. The book is an easy read and will be very helpful for everyone that wants to know what all the many different diet programs are all about.

The `diet' world is a minefield. There are so many types of diets and pros and cons that it's hard to know what's healthy and what's just a quick fix that may result on all the weight coming back on. I've yo yo dieted for years but thanks to this book I have finally found a diet to follow that is working where I'm not killing myself to do it! Well written concise book of very useful information and tips. Highly recommend

Take one look at a bookstore, on Amazon, or else where on the Internet and you will see there is a huge selection of diet plans out there. This cna lead to a huge problem: which one to choose. This book can help you. The book takes all the most popular diet plans and gives you a summary of each one and what it does.

The diet plan of each diet is outlined. This lets you look at lots of different diets and see what kind of diet they are: low carb, low fat, etc. I think this is a great way to evaluate a lot of diets side by side to see which one I think will work best for me.

The end of the book provides a bunch of extra tips you can use to make the diets work better and help you lose more weight.
