I love the recipes in this book . It's fantastic that they are all calorie counted, portion controlled, feature healthy ingredients, are easy to make and are delicious. So far I have lost 5 pounds in 4 weeks and that was after being stuck at a weight for over a year. So a big thank you to the author for this book. I use the recipes straight from my Kindle on my 2 fast days. Well worth the money.

So far, it seems to be a decent way to lose weight as intended, slowly but steady. Sticking to 2 days of "fasting" while eating normally on the other 5 days seems to make sense. I'm also trying to apply the principles from the fasting days over to the other 5 days and being more sensible, also by paying attention that as a man of 70, I need to keep my caloric intake at 2000 calories or less, preferably less to make the "diet" more effective. So far, my wife likes the diet better than I do, but I've lost about 3 lbs while she's lost about 5 lbs... we'll see how it goes now that we are back home and are more back on a regular schedule.

This book is written in British English rather than American English so there are parts that I just do not understand. I had to google the work "rocket" to learn that is arugula. I also do not know what an oatcake is, but I do know that tomato and peanut butter atop it is a combination that I would never try.
