Product Description

Outstanding and elegant light jazz recordings of jazz standards from yesteryear, selected specifically with dining and entertaining in mind. Great gift idea. Over two hours of quality light jazz music! Three CDs or cassettes for one low price.

About the Artist

Beegie Adair - Jazz Pianist - encompasses virtually all aspects of the music business: working musician, recording artist, performer, clinician, lecturer, and radio host. She's performed with some of music's biggest names on television and radio programs, movie soundtracks, commercials, and live performances. Beegie currently resides in Franklin, Tennessee with her husband, Billy, and their three dogs. California native, David Huntsinger, moved to Nashville in 1976 where he became very active in the recording industry. He wrote original music for and arranged the 1990 Grammy Award winning A Child's Gift Of Lullabies. He arranged and co-produced the recent Grammy Award winning hymns release by well known television star Andy Griffith. When not doing session work, or recording his own instrumental recordings, David and his wife, Bonnie, enjoy writing children's music together

I had been searching for some light, enjoyable dinner music, and just happened upon this when I was ordering a CD by Beegie Adair. This album is so soothing. We recently had guests for dinner, and the music was enjoyed by all.

The music is great.....but the CDs are albums Beegie has already put out.....re-issuing an old product.....misleading to say the least....a fault of both Green Hill and Amazon...

I came across Beegie's music about 6 months ago and absolutely love it. I have several of her albums now and was excited to get this set which arrived last night. I was surprised to see that 2 of the albums don't even have Beegie on them. I assumed from the way it was listed that she and David H. played together on them, but 2 of the albums are only David and his friends. He is great, too. Possibly a bit less dynamic, and doesn't quite "move" me the same, but great none-the-less. Just don't expect 3 Beegie albums. By the way, the Beegie album is the Frank Sinatra Collection, so if you already have it don't get this set. The David H. albums are For Sentimental Reasons Vol.I and II. For the price, this set is a great bargain. And who knows, David H. just might become one of my new "faves" :)

This music is perfect background for a cocktail party or dinner. Like the old days when nicer restaurants had small combos playing in the background so that you could enjoy your company, your dinner and the ambiance. Thank you,

The way this was displayed, we had no idea that it was 2 CD's that we already own. Amazon was good about a refund but it was a nuisance. The music is terrific

I first heard Beegie Adair on a cable TV music station. Since then I

have purchased all of her CD's. Her music is the absolute best. I wish I had heard of her earlier.

We sit for hours everyday listening to her music. Her style is unbelievable.

If you like George Shearing, you will love Beegie Adair. I hope she comes

out with more CD's. It's the perfect music for entertaining, dining, or

just plain relaxing.
