Do you ever feel like you mind is going in two different directions at the same time. When wisdom tells you to do one thing but logic takes you someplace else. You mind does not know which direction to take so by making it directionless-ness.

This is the story of a boy name Mind who is the son of Brain and Conscience, Mind seems to be having problems lately like he is not happy. When Idea paid a visit he told the parents of Mind to take him to see his uncle Wisdom. When Wisdom sends him out on his own to find out his goals in life, he discovers different avenues of the mind.

At first when one starts to read they will probably wonder what is going on, but continue reading and as you read think of the different emotions your mind goes through. Wisdom, pride, greed, logic, and much more. When I first started reading it I myself wondered but after a few paragraphs, I got the drift of the book . A small book it can be read in a short amount of time. The book is unique in its own way and the content of the story is what makes it interesting.

I ran across this book in a search for information on depression to help my 22yr old son; who is suffering with low self esteem and depression. Refusing to seek help, I began this quest and it brought me to this book. I thought it was a reading to give me answers on how to help him, but it in turn help me with understanding the mind of a person that suffers with depression. The book was very well written and the characters of the book defined the actions of the brain. Now if I can get my son to read this book, maybe he can relate to the author and get understanding of what it is he's suffering with and thus be able to move forward.
It was also wonderful that at the end of this book the author has information that allows you to reach out to him. When I did reach out to him surprisingly, he replied to me with encouragement from across the world; he in India and I in the US.
Thanks for allowing the God of your belief to help me understand and accept the season I'm in and know that my God will always walk with me in this season of my trials.
Your an inspiration to all. So much so that I purchased this book through my kindle, but I want to own the paperback for my collection of odd books, but great reads
God Bless your life over and over again.
Elaine.

Life deals with morals and conscience, the directions we take often lead us further than we plan, yet each element that occurs to change that direction also has a place in the decisons made in life. Crossroads are placed for a purpose, taking a chance can lead you to your hearts desire.

In The Directionless Son of Brain by Saurabh Sharma, we travel through the land of thoughts and morals. We follow the journey of Mind, the Son of Brain as he takes a trip to find some direction in his life. With the advice of Wisdom and the encouragement of Consciousness, Mind is ready and has agreed to keep a journal of his travels. Not sure where to start he begins his journey just as direcionless as his life. When he finds a place with a man at the gate, he asks where his is. Finding himself at the City of Orphans, he determines he would like to stay awhile. But that is impossible without the approval of Mr. Hunger and Miss Poverty. He set about getting their aproval, and once Misfortune allows him in he is welcomed by the children. His time is short so he must learn all he can to find his direction.

As he moves through the process of time and place he finds those that can create crossroads, where he much make his choices in life. The different people he meets all area a part of the facninting journey he makes to give him his direction in life. He meet Religion, Logic and Practicality to name a few. Will this journey help him to find the direction he so badly needs?

I found the story to be both fun and interesting, taking the life of a young man on a journey to find himself. Using all those parts that create the whole of an individual was very perceptive, and the lessons learned were quite exceptional.
