They are priced very fairly and a great value.

The small "brush" end can get into any gaps in my teeth and is better than floss for removing bits of food.

I purchased a 60 pack of The Doctor's BrushPicks Toothpicks at a local store. They were the most fantastic item I've ever found for dental care. When I ran out, the store had remodeled and no longer carried them, so I came online because I was eager to get more. I dreaded the thought that they had gone out of business; so I hope everyone will try them. The ends are thinner than any wooden toothpick and thus can enter between teeth that are fairly tight. The bristles gently "brush" the sides of teeth removing particles better and quicker than toothpicks or flossing. The other end gently scrapes at plaque. I never found them to be too soft to push in between teeth nor irritating to tender spots. And they don't splinter like wooden picks. I am glad that they are still around

I love these picks. While they do not replace the need to floss, they provide a great supplement to keeping your teeth clean and your gums healthy. My dentist has made numerous remarks about how healthy my gums look.

A friend of mine introduced me to these and now I can't be without them! The only thing I would quibble with is the claim that they are "better than dental floss". They do more things than dental floss, but they don't replace it entirely. They can't fit between teeth at the point where they touch so they won't clean those areas, and they're not good for addressing the backs of the rear molars. Floss fits between even the tightest teeth, cleans the entire length of the tooth, and wraps around the back molars. So keep on flossing! But these brush picks are delightfully portable and do an excellent job of safely removing most plaque and food particles and stimulating the gums. Both ends are useful in different ways. I only floss in a bathroom where I can wash my hands, whereas these can be used anywhere and my fingers stay out of my mouth.

I've been very lax in my brushing and flossing lately, and was worried about my dental cleaning appointment coming up. I had my appt yesterday and the hygienist said "your teeth and gums look great!"!!! Huh?? I've been using the Brush Picks a lot, usually twice a day, as my teeth have so many spaces where food sticks. I guess that plus 1 (or sometimes 2) brushings a day, and 1 or 2 flossings a week, have been golden. I had a brush stick in my purse and my hygienist was so impressed she showed it to my dentist and he was also very impressed.
These are much cheaper and much more effective than the soft picks -- I used to use those and my dental appt 6 months ago was not as sweet as this one.
PS. I am not in any way involved in the dental industry, either directly or indirectly, this is an honest testimonial.

I have small spaces between my teeth, and dental floss often gets caught or breaks when I'm trying to floss. These brushpicks are tapered so they can clean between teeth even in the smallest space. My gums are also stimulated by the cleaning and brushing, and it feels great. I highly recommend this product for everyone who still has their own teeth.

This product has ended my search for the perfect toothpick. The small "brush" end can get into any gaps in my teeth and is better than floss for removing bits of food. I now carry a pack in my car, in my briefcase and one at home. I used to have periodic gum pain and I haven't experienced any of it since I started using the Brushpicks.

I heard Joy Behar on the View talk about these little things and found them and placed my order immediately. Flossing is a real important daily chore, and with these little brushpicks, the nooks and crannys get much better attention, too. Definitely a WONDERFUL little product that I cannot live without now!
