I am a vegan and am also allergic to dairy. all of my life I have wished for a great "ice cream". the recipes in this book are AMAZING and taste fantastic. They are creamy and rich tasting and work for everyone no matter whether your vegetarian, vegan, or on a weight-loss diet. They also don't take that much time. I made the original chocolate (1 avocado, 2 bananas, cacao powder, 1 tsp real maple syrup or honey, and cacao nibs). put it in my new cuisenart ice cream maker and it was ready in 10 minutes. And it was BEYOND anything I had outside. I highly recommend this book.

I love Ice Cream, unfortunately I don't like all the sugar and other bad ingredients they put in our food and always try to eat as healthy as possible. I've been off sweets, that contain refined sugar, for a month now and I must say my biggest craving has been for ice-cream. Needless to say I am thrilled with this book! I made the chocolate ice-cream yesterday and absolutely LOVE it! It has so few ingredients and it's so easy to make! I also brought a little bit of it over to a friend's house for her to try. She can't eat gluten or dairy so I think this will be the perfect treat for her as well. I can't wait to try the other recipes in this book.

My wife and I are moving towards vegan everyday and giving up ice cream was difficult. Soy-based products purchased in the store are an acceptable substitute, or at least they were, until we got this book. Have tried the cookie dough chocolate chip blizzard - YUMMY, but clearly the rest will be delicious too. Never realized what you could make a creamy frozen treat out of until I saw this book. Vegans and non-vegans alike will love these recipes.

This is incredible! Since I decided to lose weight and get my body fat down i've been looking for an alternative to dairy AND an alternative to soy ice cream and I've finally found something that meets taste and texture standards. I made my first recipe tonight, choclate (and towards the end I threw in a little cashew butter to get some ripples) and I have to say I am floored.

I also served this ice cream to some of my friends and told them I bought it from a new fancy store and they all LOVED it.

If you want to lose weight and you're missing ice cream look no further!

I can't wait to make them, and even my picky family is excited. My daughter and I are trying to give up simple sugars, and this is going to be a lifesaver.

In this day and age when people are trying to eat healthly this book was very welcome,

After years of overindulging in junk food, loads of sugars and sweets, and other "bad" food, Heather noticed that she's getting very depressed, constantly distracted and her brain is always out of whack. Unaware of the connection between food and emotional and spiritual being, Heather remained confused as to why she couldn't improve her situation.

However one day, Heather decided to turn her life around. She didn't know how she'll do it, but she was willing to do whatever it takes, and she knew that it will take time and be a long journey to take.

On her quest to personal healing and evolution, she stumbled upon a few books on brain health, where she learned that eating more vegetables and cutting down garbage food is the single best thing she can do for her brain health. On that same day, she quit all the bad food she was eating and started having more and more vegetables and fruits. After more and more research about health, nutrition, mood and cancer, Heather came to the conclusion that a raw food diet is the best diet she can follow, and so she did, and her life literally transformed before her eyes.

Heather started sharing her wisdom with close friends and family, but noticed that they were all reluctant to give it a shot. That's when Heather started to experiment with ways to make raw food dishes more attractive and enticing to others.

To this day, Heather continues to improve and refine her diet and lifestyle, on a never-ending journey to peak physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well being.

This biography may sound like utter nonsense to you and just a way to sell books, but the best way to learn and test something is experience: try it out for a while and witness the results yourself.
