Sick of a lot of talking, audio tune and lyrics that make you kill yourself on hip hop? I know I am and just this one single got me hyped up because it is flat out dope. Nas is one of the best of all time. He is number 3 on my list which means he is the greatest rapper alive in opinion. The single Don is a unique sound from Nas, but it is dope. Can't wait to buy the album on Tues.

You'd think that after dropping multiple classic albums such as It Was Written, Stillmatic, Untitled, Distant Relatives and of course the legendary Illmatic, that Nas would be surely slowing down and fading away. Instead, Nas released 3 singles in antisipation of his new 2012 LP, Life is Good, with all being knockout rap hits. Not only are they greatly produced, but Nas, in this track transforms into 1994 Nasty Nas. 'The Don' is possibly the greatest Nas song i've heard since 'Last Real N**** Alive' from God's Son LP, releaed in 02.
You may say what about 'Just a Moment', 'Hustlers', 'Black President', 'Tribes At War', 'Africa Must Wake Up'...aren't they better? Well, they may be better songs, but from a real rap, hip-hop fan such as myself, this track is his best since 2002 from a rap stand point.
Nas is still the best. We lost Pac, Big and Eazy, but at least we have Nas.
