5.0 out of 5 stars The Dream is more Reality than you think! October 1, 2012

You know you can always tell when a song,a movie or a book is great by the fact it sticks with you. You know, when the song ends, you feel sad that it did but there is the repeat button! This is what this book is to me, one of those things that just stays with you. I don't know if it is the writing style or plot but you can't keep from falling in love with Adela. This story is so believable that it seems that you have found Adela's diary and you are reading it hoping not to get caught. In the end, you feel for Daniel because you know one day he will wake up and realize what he lost. What an idiot for letting Adela slip through his fingers. So, the question I guess, would you want to be a Joel or Daniel? For me, Joel. One of the lines I have heard in my own life is, "are we in a relationship?" It's a growing and finding your way and trusting in oneself type of love story. In the end you are happy for her. The author must be writing from personal experience has the story seems to come to life, all the elements are there in the right amount and order to make me believe that while this is fiction, somewhere Adela really does exist. You just can't make this up, it's too good. A very thought provoking read and most excellent in the style and flow. One that will be tucked away in the back of my mind for some time.

2.0 out of 5 stars Written for teenagers October 11, 2012

How old was the person who wrote this book? It seems to me that it was written by a teenager for a teenager. I was astounded by the good reviews it got. I would have never ordered the book had the reviews been more honest. But on the other hand maybe they were being honest as they are teens. My opinion is don't waste your time or money on this book unless you are a teenager. It's not worth it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really Great Read September 29, 2012

I read the description to this book and it peaked my interest so I decided that I would check it out and man am I glad I did. I really could relate in a way to the characters, they were wonderfully written and complex. You never know quite where this book is going to go, once you think that you have got it figured out it throws you a curve ball. Also being a travel lover I really enjoy the atmosphere of this book. If you are looking for a well written romance series you can really get into I recommend checking this one out.

5.0 out of 5 stars A decent slice of life piece with romantic undertones September 28, 2012

A naïve, middle class, studious, young Asian girl from Singapore falls in love with a a son of a wealthy family. The first part of the story is a tale of the developing relationship, with all the troubles and tribulations that usually accompany the young love.
However, this is more than just a romance. The way I've read it, it's a story of a young woman who is trying to find her place in the world. And perhaps, as she grows up, she would figure out who is a perfect man for her. Or would she?
A decent slice of life piece with romantic undertones.

5.0 out of 5 stars Romance, Romance October 5, 2012

This book was a great start to a series. The young woman, Adela, has her life fall apart as her fiancé moves away and her home life is torn apart. She ends up married to her boss, and her life going in a completely different direction. It reminded me a lot of my life!! The characters are well developed and the plot is well thought out. I am looking forward to more books by this author.
