Pascal's Dream Wizard really started getting fascinating the deeper into the story you went. It started out with a strange crochet scene and took you into this wild world of a well to do master and "Wizard" who helped mentor people and discover their full potential. The most amazing thing that struck me was how practical this fiction was. As a reader of mainly non-fiction books, I was amazed how I could really identify with the character's struggles and apply their specific solutions to my own life. And their struggles in figuring out what they wanted in life I could easily identify with. This book is a must read for anyone wanting to live their dreams and seek out what is truly possible for their life and implement its strategies, brain storming ideas, and suggestions to create better goals, dreams, and even steps towards that life they always dreamed of. The book ending ties it all to the beginning again and is quite clever leaving the reader with a clever smile as if you can see the main character Scotty winking as he is about to work his magic. Dream wizard is a must read for any student, those looking at a different career or life goal, the unemployed, or as a resource in a career center. The perspective and wisdom is simply invaluable and rare in the works of new fiction which seems to only be made as an escape from a life of dread and corporate boredom.

Being in a crossroads in my own life, I really identified with the characters from the story. Like most people I wanted change in my life, but I was not sure what I needed to change. The author helped me sit down and figure out what I truly wanted my goals to be.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good advice starts on the (sub)title of the book. March 13, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
We all know what we have to do to be rich: set goals and achieve them.
But Keith addresses a part of the process that we often forget about: "Defining rich"

There you go, some advice for free -- you have to define what "rich" means to YOU, even before setting goals.
The title intrigued me, so I bought it. And I wasn't dissappointed, at all.

I found a bunch of concepts that helped me redefine the way I think about my lifestyle, and also some valuable advice on how to shape my wishes more acurately.

5.0 out of 5 stars Inspirational and Funny! March 5, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This was one of the first self help books I have ever read that didn't feel at ALL like a self help book! It was funny, insightful, and inspirational - rather than feeling like I was being told what to do, it was more of a pep talk of, "Yes, you CAN do it!"

I highly recommend this to anyone who has ever felt stuck in their life or career.

5.0 out of 5 stars Creative Take on Important Principles March 4, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
To be honest, having read quite a number of self-help books, the ideas presented here are neither new nor original. However, presenting them in a narrative / story book manner and in a modern-day setting help the reader identify with the characters and the struggles they go through, unlike other self-help books which can be quite boring and sterile at times. The principles are therefore easily absorbed.

At 83 pages, the ebook can be read in under an hour, so carve an hour out, grab a drink and a notebook, and take notes as you read and draw out the principles. See also if you can find the author's subtle attempts at humour (which are actually quite obvious for long-time followers of the author's e-lists).

5.0 out of 5 stars Very thought provoking March 4, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
Keith has taken an Ayn Rand approach to teaching in this book. A story whose characters demonstrate his techniques and philosophy, but minus the twenty page expositions. This is not a long story, but for Keith's purposes its brevity works to advantage. Any longer, and the reader would risk losing some of the key points of this story.

End sum, this book, while an enjoyable evening read, has some truly useful ideas in it. Over the course of my perusal it definitely had me questioning whether my current job was a good fit for me. This will make you question your desires and motivations, all while giving you the techniques to discover them in truth.

I guess, after all is said and done, this book makes Keith the real dream wizard, and is worth your time to listen.
