About the Author

E. M. Lohr, a recycled husband, is a man of many layers (can you say onion, of the spicy variety). By day, he is a writer of regulations for the federal government. But by night, he indulges in the world of reading and writing fiction. Raising two children and surviving a divorce has brought a perspective of life for him that is laced with humor and wit. He lives in the gorgeous countryside of West Virginia and when he is not playing on the tractor, he is practicing cooking for his lovely bride.

I have to say starting out this book I noticed the accuracy and details that was involved in it and I loved that about it! It definitely had some surprises involved including the end, but I really appreciated and liked how it ended and you find yourself throughout picking out your favorite characters. It would definately be a great summer read!

My sister brought this book home for me, the title really sparked my interest. The author kept my attention right until the end when the suspense of who sparky chooses finally draws to a close, you'll fall in love with each of the characters and find yourself secretly cheering for which woman you'd like to see him choose. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and highly recommend it. Great read!!

I am the type of person that will read a few chapters and never pick it up again. However, this story kept me guessing all the way to the end, although I anticipated it!

**The Story**

Overall, it was a good story. The author seemed like he spent a lot of time formulating a story that would make sense yet I feel like he lived this situation himself (read for yourself to understand what I meant). The story is not a very deep story but it will have you feel as though you know the protagonist personally. Like I indicated in my title, the story has a few steamy moment, but I think that the overtones of family values are the selling point for this book.

**Bottom Line**

If you:
1. Like books that give you a steamy romance without disgracing the art of writing with graphic depictions of sexual activity
2. Want a realistic story of family that will force you ask does this really happen? (Answer: yes it does)
3. Appreciate a story that will move relatively quickly but not bog you down with unecessary detail.

Then, you will like this book!
