I ate clean without cheating (except weekly alcohol) for 8 weeks, but got off track the past several weeks. I am within 10 pounds of my goal weight, so I thought this book would be perfect for me. Like a lot of people said, there isn't a ton of new information, but that didn't particularly matter to me. The reasons I bought the book were because:
1.) I am 10 pounds away from my goal weight and needed my interest in eating clean to be revamped. The book is successfully doing this.
2.) Meal planning. Ugh. I really dislike meal planning. It's time consuming to figure out what you need to be eating, find recipes that look good, make a grocery list, go to the farmer's market and come home with your bounty and revise the grocery list, go to the store, etc. I knew this book had meal plans, so I was excited for fresh ideas for my meal planning and for the convenience of the pre-made plans. This is where the Kindle version really disappointed me. I would rate the book itself four stars, but the Kindle version only three stars, because the meal plans small, blurry graphics instead of normal text. I have a really hard time reading them and really have to work at doing so instead of being able to glance at the plan to see what is for lunch (for example).

So, though less portable, the hard copy version of this book would have met my purposes. I love Tosca's books and subscribe to Clean Eating magazine, and overall, this book is up to par.

I have enjoyed the eat clean diet books one and two. This book is a little different, it is for people who would like to lose their "last" 10 pound in 28 days. So the recipes don't seem to be as delicious as in the other two books. I would only get this one if you are looking to go on a very strict diet and in need of recipes :)

I borrowed this book from the library so many times it just made since to buy it! This book is actually the reason why I purchased her two other recipe books, Eat Cleat Diet Cookbook and Eat-Clean Diet Cookbook 2. Great tasting recipes!

Lots of information. Great recipes in the back. I love how she breaks it down to skincare and everything. Thanks Tosca for always keeping Clean Eating interesting.

I've been a huge fan of The Eat Clean Diet since early 2009 when I decided that 'average' wasn't good enough when it came to my health. This book is a great tool for someone like me who is smaller in stature, carb sensitive and/or looking to get extra lean. As always, the recipes are delicious although I can't always find the ingredients in my local supermarket (and there's no local health food store). With a little planning and online ordering (or some substitutions) the recipes are figure, wallet and health-friendly. They taste amazing and even my husband likes the foods. I like all of Tosca's books because they reinforce the same basic principles and yet continually build on strategies, offer tips and substitutions based on dietary needs/restrictions. Some people might call it being redundant, I consider it being consistent. As for new tips, my favorite so far in this book is that it comes with a chart specifically dedicated to "Can't Eat ______; Try ______ instead" Worth every cent!

This is the first of her books that I have read so I can't compare it to the others. But I can say that this book is full of good advice. It isn't a dangerous fad diet. It doesn't require buying powders for meal replacement shakes. It's just good nutrition advice.

This plan seems a bit restrictive but it is just for 28 days to lose the last tough 10 lbs. It seems that her long term weight loss plan isn't quite as restrictive.

I am going on a clean eating "diet" in hopes of feeling better and looking better. This book seems like a very good guideline.

I agree this book is more of the same info repeated. I like the advice , but even the meal plan has been in another book already.
Buy this book for the recipes, or if you don't have the other books. My rating is lower only because of the repetitiveness.
Just as an aside on all of her books: even though the info is sound and well researched, I have to say -- how many pictures can you have of yourself in these books?!
She looks great and did a great job of getting in shape, but enough already!

I am a vegetarian and cannot use most recipes as written but can improvise and Tosca has great common sense advice. This book is never put away on a shelf. I would recommend purchasing if you want to take care of yourself, no matter how old or young you are!
