This review is from: The EHR Handbook: Written by an experienced Implementation Specialist for the EMR/PM Consumer (Paperback)
I got this book thinking it would be a simple, quick read that would be good for our non-techie staff (we are looking to implement an EHR). Unfortunately, it is so poorly written and so poorly presented that I won't be passing it on to anyone. The poor grammer, improper use of capital letters (the word Physician is always spelled with a capital P), and lack of proofreading (example: throughout the book, she uses the word "and" when it should be "an") take away from any real information the book may have. Each individual sentence on every page is centered (rather than block or even left-justified), unlike any book I have ever seen, which makes reading just that much more painful. And the material is so simplistic, it just doesn't add anything beyond the obvious. An unfortunate waste of time and money.
