ANTONIN RUSEK is the Associate Professor of Economics at Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, USA. He specializes in international economics, with emphasis on European economics. He often presents his work at international conferences both in Europe and the USA, and is the author of numerous papers in a variety of economic subjects.
 
LUBOR LACINA is Associate Professor of Economics and Management at Mendel University, Brno, Czech Republic. He specializes in the economics of European integration, with emphasis on European monetary integration and EU enlargement. Since 2002 he has been holder of European Commission Jean Monnet grants.
 
JARKO FIDRMUC is Professor of European Integration and Political Economy at the Economics Department of the Geschwister-Scholl-Institute for Political Science at the University of Munich, Germany. He is also a Research Fellow at CESifo, Munich, Germany, and Visiting Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics, Comenius University, Bratislava, Slovakia.

I bought this book for an economist I am friends with and the author happens to be a dear old friend. The friend who read the book found it extremely thorough and an interesting to read and shared the book with his work colleagues who like him enjoyed it. The author has dedicated his entire professional life to this topic and has a world of information to share.
