I also love how the story ends.

It kind of felt like the end was rushed, like she was just trying to wrap up the whole thing really quick.

So Beautiful!!!

I can honestly say I was surprised when I found out there was going to be a sequel to The Edge of Never. Don’t get me wrong, I was thrilled to know there was going to be more of Andrew and Camryn’s story, just surprised because I really didn’t think it needed a sequel but boy was I wrong.

I could go on and on about Andrew and Camryn but I’m going to make this a short and sweet review because honestly if you loved
The Edge of Never, I think you’ll love The Edge of Always. It’s a beautiful continuation of Andrew and Camryn’s journey. What I loved most about this book, besides the fact that these two make me laugh and make my heart swell and I admire how they live life to the fullest, is that this story eventually takes you deep into the future. There have been many times where I have finished a book and my mind goes off and wonders how most of or the rest of the couple’s life was together so I couldn’t be happier that I got those answers for my favorite book couple.

The Edge of Always gave perfect closure to my ALL time favorite book. I will Never forget this story…I will Always cherish it!

I simply loved The Edge of Always. I was truly satisfied with the end of The Edge of Never but am glad that J.A. Redmerski gave us more Andrew and Camryn.

This sequel is clearly Andrew's story although there are alternating POV's throughtout. I loved getting more of their story even though they are dealt some more heartbreak.

But in the end this is the story of a beautiful, almost perfect love. Andrew Parrish has remained one of my top 5 bbf's for a reason. He lets Camryn be Camryn. No matter what, he is by her side and supports her 100%. And it's never a sappy kind of devotion. It's the kind of devotion that lasts a lifetime, that makes you know that this will be the couple that lives to their 80's or beyond and die within hours of each other because they simply cannot live without each other.

I really enjoyed getting an update about Natalie and Aidan and Asher and getting that glimpse into the future seeing how they all continue their lives.

Andrew and Camyrn's road trip was yet another great journey and I'm so glad to have been able to read about it.

I cannot recommend this book enough. It was the perfect continuation of a love just so incredible.

I adored it.

I pre ordered this book as soon as the option was available and I was giddy with excitement awaiting the release because I absolutely loved The Edge of Never. I truly believed the book was so moving I found myself rereading it multiple times. So I began the book and I was extremely disappointed because the author rush through some parts of the book and told us how we were supposed to be feeling. I dislike when an author tells you how you should feel instead of writing material that actually makes you feel it. Also, I disliked the fact the Camryn was the only one allowed to express any sad, worried, angry, or anxious feelings. Anytime Andrew felt those he had to hold them in to please her or make her feel better. I understand that he was trying to be loving and supportive but Camryn just came off as selfish to me.
Would I have read this knowing what I know now? Probably not...I would've been happier ending it with Edge of Never.

Would I recommend this? No, I wouldn't want someone to get disappointed like I am.

I have read several books but there are a handful of these books I find very hard to forget. Some of the H and h in the books are in my memory. If I see some couples, I go like they sure look and behave like........
First of all Andrew is an every day kind of guy. He is not this super rich young hero that have too much money and women at their disposal. Camryn also reads like an 'every woman'. The love these two have for each other is deep and endless. Just looking is enough for them to understand each other.

I didn't want to read this book because of the synopsis. But I can't resist. So what happened happened, and these two faced it, owned it, together. There was no angst of their separating. They stuck together and faced the problem head on. That is the beauty of this book. And of course they went back on the road.

Andrew and Camryn will forever remain with me like Jane and Mr. Rochester. The epilogue goes beyond a few years after the end of the story also. It went way beyond that. I am being careful not to give anything away. J.A. Redmerski has set a standard in the writers' world. It will be hard for me to get over this. Well done and thank you. I don't have enough words to review this book. It is brilliant.

Also, on their journeys, Camryn and Andrew passed through Lubbock, TX. where I live! I couldn't believe it. Had to show my colleagues that one, and you guessed it, they all wanted to read the book of course.

I never anticipated that I would give this book anything other than 5 stars. However, I never felt any emotion from the characters--even during what should've been extremely emotional scenes. I truly wish I wouldn't have continued their story and stopped with the first book. The characters didn't have the same spark that they previously held and there were too many scenes that had absolutely no purpose. I am left wondering if the author originally intended to write a second book since the entire plot seemed more of an afterthought.

I loved that these two opened up and told each other everything in the previous book in such a short time period (with the exclusion of Andrew's health) but Andrew bit his tongue and didn't say what was on his mind so often in this book, I was left feeling that they took a step backwards in their relationship. Furthermore, there were too many conflicting statements throughout the book. One minute Cam likes simple things and can live inexpensively, but yet, Andrew mentions all her new clothes/heels she'd have on at performances. I don't care one way or another, but make sure it's consistent.

While I love the message this book is trying to send about not settling into life, it started to annoy me how they would criticize people for having a predictable life. The majority of people don't want to go to the same job every single day, but health insurance (which should be a big deal in Andrew's case because of his tumor) and bills are a real thing and not everyone receives an inheritance. I know it is only a book and I'm taking it a bit too literal, but it did take me out of the story and had me roll my eyes a few times.

Lastly, the last 20% of the story had so many time gaps I thought I'd miss a whole section of their life.
