So Beautiful!!!

I can honestly say I was surprised when I found out there was going to be a sequel to The Edge of Never. Don’t get me wrong, I was thrilled to know there was going to be more of Andrew and Camryn’s story, just surprised because I really didn’t think it needed a sequel but boy was I wrong.

I could go on and on about Andrew and Camryn but I’m going to make this a short and sweet review because honestly if you loved
The Edge of Never, I think you’ll love The Edge of Always. It’s a beautiful continuation of Andrew and Camryn’s journey. What I loved most about this book, besides the fact that these two make me laugh and make my heart swell and I admire how they live life to the fullest, is that this story eventually takes you deep into the future. There have been many times where I have finished a book and my mind goes off and wonders how most of or the rest of the couple’s life was together so I couldn’t be happier that I got those answers for my favorite book couple.

The Edge of Always gave perfect closure to my ALL time favorite book. I will Never forget this story…I will Always cherish it!

I simply loved The Edge of Always. I was truly satisfied with the end of The Edge of Never but am glad that J.A. Redmerski gave us more Andrew and Camryn.

This sequel is clearly Andrew's story although there are alternating POV's throughtout. I loved getting more of their story even though they are dealt some more heartbreak.

But in the end this is the story of a beautiful, almost perfect love. Andrew Parrish has remained one of my top 5 bbf's for a reason. He lets Camryn be Camryn. No matter what, he is by her side and supports her 100%. And it's never a sappy kind of devotion. It's the kind of devotion that lasts a lifetime, that makes you know that this will be the couple that lives to their 80's or beyond and die within hours of each other because they simply cannot live without each other.

I really enjoyed getting an update about Natalie and Aidan and Asher and getting that glimpse into the future seeing how they all continue their lives.

Andrew and Camyrn's road trip was yet another great journey and I'm so glad to have been able to read about it.

I cannot recommend this book enough. It was the perfect continuation of a love just so incredible.

I adored it.

I have read several books but there are a handful of these books I find very hard to forget. Some of the H and h in the books are in my memory. If I see some couples, I go like they sure look and behave like........
First of all Andrew is an every day kind of guy. He is not this super rich young hero that have too much money and women at their disposal. Camryn also reads like an 'every woman'. The love these two have for each other is deep and endless. Just looking is enough for them to understand each other.

I didn't want to read this book because of the synopsis. But I can't resist. So what happened happened, and these two faced it, owned it, together. There was no angst of their separating. They stuck together and faced the problem head on. That is the beauty of this book. And of course they went back on the road.

Andrew and Camryn will forever remain with me like Jane and Mr. Rochester. The epilogue goes beyond a few years after the end of the story also. It went way beyond that. I am being careful not to give anything away. J.A. Redmerski has set a standard in the writers' world. It will be hard for me to get over this. Well done and thank you. I don't have enough words to review this book. It is brilliant.

Also, on their journeys, Camryn and Andrew passed through Lubbock, TX. where I live! I couldn't believe it. Had to show my colleagues that one, and you guessed it, they all wanted to read the book of course.

With their big scare behind them, Andrew and Camryn were ready to setlle down after their life on the road, with a new adventure in front of them. Everything is beautiful and serene and they are more madley in love then ever if that is even remotely possible. Then out of no where tragedgy strikes and their dreams were shattered (AS WELL AS MY HEART AS I WAS READING IT!)

As they deal with what has just happened, Andrew has to find a way to force Camryn to start living again. It is a hard pursuit as Camryn internalizes her struggles and paints a fake smile onto her face to mask her pain. But Andrew being the amazing man that he is finds away to bring the woman he loves to the land of living.

This was a beautiful sequel to The Edge of Never and just like the first book I could not put it down. The author did a wonderful job of portraying a very real and traumatic event in Camryn's life. I cried, I laughed and fell in love wtih Camryn's and Andrew's relationship all over again! Another thing that I really enjoyed about this book was the epilogue! It was so beautiful and done in a POV which I wasn't expecting, that I believe all of you will enjoy as well.

This truly hurts me to say, but I was so disappointed. There was no depth, we didn't learn anything new or enticing about Andrew and Cam, and they just weren't the same couple as The Edge of Never. I just don't understand how we can go from such a captivating love story in The Edge of Never, to this. There were a few things that irritated me about the book. One of them was the confusion of tense. One minute we would be in the present, and I would be following along as the action took place, then the next Cam or Andrew were in a future point in life and regressing on the time missed. It was unnecessary and confusing, because there were a few times that I was like "Wait, how the hell did you get that far!"
Next, there was a lack of depth between Andrew and Cam. In the first book, I felt so connected to them and I lost that here. The action was bland, and that scene in Florida felt like a space-filler. It was completely pointless. It was like the author didn't exactly know where she wanted to go with the story. There was nothing note-worthy about this book. It didn't add anything new to Andrew and Cam, they did the same thing as the first book - road trip, singing, and letters. As much as I loved that about the first book (and I get it that's there thing), it just want enough for a sequel.
This sequel just fell short, the only thing it accomplished was introducing a new character for a potential spin-off series. Besides that, I could have done without it (as much as it kills me to say).
