Peter F. Drucker is considered the most influential management thinker ever. The author of more than twenty-five books, his ideas have had an enormous impact on shaping the modern corporation. Drucker passed away in 2005.
Although written in simple words and easy to read, the book is not superficial.
These principles can be applied to most aspects of life to increase personal effectiveness and get the most out of the time you have.
I especially liked the familiar Drucker use of important historical examples to make his points.
