More About the Author

CHRIS KUZNESKI is the New York Times bestselling author of ten novels: THE FORBIDDEN TOMB, THE EINSTEIN PURSUIT, THE HUNTERS, THE DEATH RELIC, THE SECRET CROWN, THE PROPHECY, THE LOST THRONE, SWORD OF GOD, SIGN OF THE CROSS, and THE PLANTATION. His novels have been translated into more than twenty languages and have sold millions of copies worldwide.

Due to his success overseas, his books are rushed into print in foreign markets before they are available in his home country (United States). Two books will be released in North America in the coming months: THE EINSTEIN PURSUIT (June 1) and THE HUNTERS (July 1).

Film rights to the THE HUNTERS -- the first book in the Hunters series -- have been optioned by Piers Tempest and Jo Bamford's new UK-based production venture. Mark Huffam (Prometheus, World War Z) and Chris Clark (Johnny English, The Guard) have joined the producing team. More information about the project will be announced at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2014.

I have just finished The Einstein Pursuit, and once again I'm already wanting another novel straight away, I have read all of Chris' books, boy does this guy know how to write. TEP is another Payne and Jones Story and once again Kuzneski has managed to keep it fresh and Original, great characters, great story and the thing I love the most about Chris is the amount of time he puts into his research for each novel. I learn so much I didn't know before about our history thorough his books. For me 10/10 review and I'm just waiting for the Payne and jones movie to come out :)

I just finished the Einstein Pursuit and like other reviewers I am a huge fan of Kuzneski. I have read all of his other books aside from The Death Relic, which I was hesitant to read based upon the reviews. I must say though that after reading all the other Payne and Jones books I feel quite a connection to the characters and as such was puzzled by out of character comments by Jones. There were only a few in this book, but still, they left me with the feeling that he wouldn’t have made such juvenile comments. I thoroughly enjoyed the witty banter of the other books, but a few of DJ’s remarks were not what I expected. They actually detracted from the book for me, as I see Jones as above such childish remarks and actions. Based upon those inclusions in this book I think I will skip The Death Relic and hope for a return to the old Payne and Jones of earlier books.

Glad the author has put the disaster of the Death Relic behind him and written a fresh, fast paced novel. The dialogue between the protagonists was so much better than the last book. Although I do wish the author would also go back to historical novels! Hunters was good too.

I can be critical of a writer. Even that I lack such talent. We have a repeat of main unforgettable characters. There are bad people and good people. Jones is a character that you will remember. There is the travel to places and cities we would like to go. My book came out of England and the type is larger than most paperbacks and the size of the paperback makes you think it is a hardcover.

I love Kuzneski! I was upset when I heard there would be no more Payne and Jones but here they are again! Great book and loved the build up behind this mystery!

One of Chris Kuzneski's best yet. His Payne and Jones series is fantastically fun reading. Would recommend it to anyone who also enjoys James Rollins and Steve Berry.
