Mandy M. Roth grew up fascinated by creatures that go bump in the night. From the very beginning, she showed signs of creativity--writing, painting, telling scary stories that left her little brother afraid to come out from under his bed. Combining her creativity with her passion for the paranormal has left her banging on the keyboard into the wee hours of the night.

She's a self-proclaimed Goonie, loves 80s music and movies and wishes leg warmers would come back into fashion. She also thinks the movie The Breakfast Club should be mandatory viewing for... okay, everyone. When she's not dancing around her office to the sounds of the 80s or writing books she can be found designing book covers for NY publishers, small press and indie authors.

Mandy has been #1 on Amazon's Author Rank and on Amazon bestseller lists numerous times. Mandy writes for Harlequin Spice, The Raven Books, Samhain Publishing, Ellora's Cave Publishing, Pocket Books, Running Press and Random House/Virgin/Black Lace.

Alright I still liked this book but not as much as the first book. It still has a lot of conflict between Caleb and Pallo and honestly it got a little annoying. The plot keeps you interested with everything that is happening with the Enchantress. Gwen can never make up her mind and it is like she can't help herself when she is near Caleb or Pallo. She loves them both but it seems she is destined to hurt them both no matter what.

At the beginning of the book she has decided to be with Caleb and get married but when he takes off to go to work then it starts going downhill from there. While Caleb is gone Gwen becomes ill so James has to call in Pallo to help and Caleb catches him at the farmhouse. We find out a little more to Gwen's past life and about Caleb and Pallo. Gwen discovers she is also a shifter meaning she is able to change her appearance however she chooses. James and Gwen become closer in this book just as friends. Yay more James!! Sometimes Gwen is a little irritating since she is unable to make up her mind about which man she wants.

When Caleb is caught out with other women it seems that it is kind of ridiculous that it is okay for him because he is just pretending but when Gwen is with Pallo it is not okay. Personally I am starting to think maybe she should just leave both of them permanently and just start over. The bickering itself would be enough to make me want to get away and that is exactly what Gwen does.

At the end of the book she runs off with the one man everyone says she should stay away from Giovanni. He was the one who was responsible for her death the first time around. I am not sure if I like him or not but he will apparently be in the third book so I am reserving judgment on Giovanni. All in all I am going to give this book 3 stars I liked it but not as much as the first book.
