Having gone through something similar, and being self employed in this crappy economy, the portrayal was almost too real for me. From the pain of loss to the mundane beauty of life with a toddler...from trying to manage appointments with an active 2 year old looking on...to being terrified about your financial situation, to just craving a moment of fun now and then with your friends, this movie was filled with the rhythm and emotion of life. Right on!

Great acting by the entire cast especially the little leading man in the film. The film takes you through a range of emotions that any parent would feel when dealing with the loss of their loved one in the midst of struggling to raise their child. A beautiful story about life, love, loss and the human condition.

I really enjoyed this movie. I thought there was nice genuine human emotions and insight into what most people who are a 1-person caregiver have to face on a daily basis. I did love the innocent point of view from a child who has no clue as to what his parent is going through.

This touching and lovingly made movie is a tribute that anyone who has parented alone will appreciate. Mark Webber is wretched and sweet and I can't wait to see him in something else. And the son, Isaac (?), too real to be fake!

I was looking for a movie to fall asleep to like I always do and came across this one. I ended up staying awake and really enjoyed this film. It was one of those movies where I actually felt sorry for the actor during his awkward moments. When a movie can do that for me well it has to become a favorite. This won't be a movie I watch over and over but it will be a go to movie when the mood calls for it and those types of favorites are really the best ones!!

I really enjoyed the raw performances in this film. Mark Webber allowed the audience into his world the entire film. I really appreciate his brave performance and every cameo was so natural. I was really impressed with the little boy as well and the naturalistic tone of the film throughout. Hard to watch at times, but well worth it. Outstanding.

Rent it. Charming; poignant; beautiful. The acting is really great; the baby steals the show, although the main character is a close runner-up! Excellent indie.

This movie is less about story line and more of a close look at a father-son relationship. Webber and his real life son's performance is top notch. His son specifically as he is extremely young. From moments of silence to silly conversations, I felt they captured the true to life experience of being a father. Many times I was able to connect with Webber as he is interacting with his son, even while performing medial tasks. I have been there and done that. Great acting and great movie. A gem in the rough.
