Red Jumpsuit has done a spectaculor job on this recording.
Terry L. Ford Jr.
The beginning lyrics alone make it seem like a comeback song, but it also prefaces the greatness that is to follow.

So the next day I bought it & all I could say after listening to the entire album was "WOW".

I don't know about the rest of the hardcore Red Jumpsuit fans, but their last album was a bit less than I expected. It wasn't that the production value wasn't there, it was their reversion to a softer rock version of themselves. "Am I the Enemy" is almost as hard as their first album, "Don't You Fake It", while retaining the melodic strains of "Lonely Road". Thank God the guys have found a record company that they can count on for this release, at least. I don't know what the future holds for the band, but I do know that this album is a great buy. There isn't a bad song on it, although I obviously like "Reap" and "Fall From Grace".

I first want to say that their 1st album "Don't You Fake It" was pretty enjoyable. The 2nd album "Lonely Road" was just awful & plain boring, I skipped that one. Come to find out that the band comes out with this new album & so I was kind of curious to listen to it. I listened to a few 30 second samples & by the 5th song I was like this album rocks. So the next day I bought it & all I could say after listening to the entire album was "WOW". My current favorite song's "Wake Me Up". If you're reading this thinking whether or not you should buy this album think no further & go buy this album, you won't be disappointed.

RJA is one of the best bands. The first is great. The second album was different. It was not as popular. The Hell or High Water E.P. was awesome. They were getting back to their roots. On the new album, Am I The Enemy, it totally blew me out of the water! I hold it up to the Don't You Fake It cd if not better. Listen to it and buy it.

I never listened to their 2nd album, LONELY ROAD, but I heard bad things about it. I was randomly searching through music one day, found this album for $5 and took a chance. This album is worth several fold. Its a total throwback to DON'T YOU FAKE IT without being the same album. While evolving the sound and writing, they have kept the theme consistent. This record is just as heavy in demonstrating vocals and lyric writing as it is with musical talent and instrumental rifts. These guys are clever and are very talented musicians. Each song has something special about it, whether it be a banging (heh) drum line or weighed guitar rip.
And I love singing along There are a couple of things I don't like about this album, though. I wish they would have lead with REAP. The beginning lyrics alone make it seem like a comeback song, but it also prefaces the greatness that is to follow. I also think that parts of salvation make it a throw away track. When I started listening to the album after buying I got worried that the whole album would be all feel-good and I was worried they had sold out. I guess "finding my way back to my dreams" is what they are doing, but I just hate that lyric. Anyways, my worries faded when I heard the next 3 songs and by the end of the album all worry had melted away, and just leave me with some afterglow.

I've been an RJA fan for some time now, and I loved every album they've put out... this one is no exception. They have meaning in all of their songs. They deserve to have more recognition for their music, much more than the auto-tune crap on the radio nowadays. This album is definitely volume-max worthy!!!
