"After only one week on the North Slop of Alaska, Senator Chance had said to me, "Almost everything said to me [about the energy crisis] by those briefers from Washington, D. C. was a lie,'"

"[After proving the find at Gull Island an ARCO executive] went on to say, 'Chaplain, America has just become energy independent!'...The energy crisis had just come to a screeching halt-this ought to hit the front page of every newspaper in America...but before an announcement was made the government forced them to cap it and seal the records which documented the find...WHY!?"

5.0 out of 5 stars There is as much oil in Alaska as Arabia January 25, 2002
By "rce33"
Format:Paperback
Although dated, having been written in the early 70's, the testimony of Rev. Lindsay is valuable. The author is a simple, but Godly man who only states what he saw, and came to the obvious conclusions. It is amazing how brainwashed people are that they revile anyone who speaks the truth. Those people who doubt Rev. Lindsay need to open their hearts and minds and investigate more on the matter. Rev. Lindsay, Chaplin on the Prudhoe Bay Pipeline, the largest construction project in history to that time, having executive status, was present at the discovery of an oil field below Gull Isand the size of the Prudhoe Bay pool. The gov't forced the oil companies to keep quiet or else they'd shut them down with over regulation. Rev. Lindsay saw the gusher come in and was there when the test results came in. We need to stop financing the Arab weapons progams against us and utilize our own abundant resources. The executive of the oil company at Gull Island told the pastor that there are many pools of oil like that at Prudhoe Bay under Alaska, but that the government won't let them be touched. Consistent with Lindsay's experience, I personally know of a deposit of oil in northwest Montana that is being concealed from the public. This is a good book for those investigating the international banking conspiracy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Oil enough to spare June 23, 2004
By A Customer
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I agree with the reviewer from Arizona that the book itself drifts from subject to subject, is not very well written, reads like a diary, and is outdated and undocumented. BUT ... none of this is the point of this book. Lindsey's goal was simply to make the public aware of what he saw and experienced during construction of the Alaska Oil Pipeline. The book is a testimonial. Read the review of the person from Montana. I concur.

Once again we're all being told that we're in an "energy crisis." (Been there ... done that already!) The price of fuel is above $2 per gallon and is sure to hit $5. The United States has oil deposits all over (or should I say, under) its holdings. Get real! SOMEBODY is controlling the supply of both petroleum and natural gas to the public. There is no need of a shortage. THAT'S the point of the book, and Rev. Lindsey's message.

And, by the way, "conspiracies" DO exist ... and they are only "theories" if they are unproven.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book, and the videos are spot on. August 22, 2008
Format:Paperback
My work mate lent me this book a few months ago and I started looking around for a copy. Folks, this baby is hard to find [for under $150].

As of this posting, there are 243 copies of this exact revised-edition paperback book available from the central supplier of Mr. Williams. This book is rare, but I can't believe this book is selling for $1499.99. Information must be avaiable and this price jacking is not right when the book is actually avaiable.

Folks, Call 1-800-321-2900 option 2. You may have to try calling back a few times, its a very small shop.

5.0 out of 5 stars Some facts are hard argue with June 22, 2008
Format:Paperback
There is great information presented here, but as evidenced by the wide range of opinions and ratings, people believe what they want and reject what doesn't agree with their world view, as manipulated by the zeitgeist that fortunately for now at least, includes Amazon.com. So believe this:

In 1999, before we elected our first MBA President, an OIL man, to be the leader of the "free" world, oil was at $10 a barrel. Now it's pushing $140 a barrel, the world is less free, and Exxon is making record profits while getting massive federal subsidies. For some reason I don't understand, this may be a good thing?

We're just one more Middle-Eastern invasion away from $200 a barrel oil, that should happen later this year. So believe what you want, vote for more war, pay your sub-prime mortgage, bend over at the gas pump and watch a little more TV before you vote. Talk about getting HOSED!

Read this book before you dismiss it--Or watch the reverend on YouTube while you still can, since this book is obviously going away.

2.0 out of 5 stars The Energy Non Crisis April 25, 2013
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
The seller's service was perfection. The book, however, is a huge disappointment. I heard about it on talk radio, touted as the latest information on the subject. The cover (and I could see this on the web site) reads UPDATED AND ENLARGED. In fact, I received a book copyrighted 1980!!! Need I say more?

5.0 out of 5 stars The Energy Non-Crisis October 3, 2012
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
He is an ordained Baptist minister and an Alaskan. When the pipe line was just starting to be built in 1974 he requested and was eventually allowed to provide spiritual comfort and guidance to the men and women working on the project. He was not paid but was given executive status which allowed him to be privy to discussions by the oil men and to visit all sections of the construction areas. He does not profess knowledge of the oil business but in his mind was able to glean insight into the process.
Much of it tells of the hardships encountered and the roadblocks continually put in the way which impeded progress and inflated the original cost from an estimated $600 million to over $12 billion. The entire cost was borne by the consortium of oil companies called Alyeska.
He claims that our government since this project was started in the early seventies has kept free enterprise from doing its job of providing energy for America. He contends that there is oil on the North Slope exceeding that of Saudi Arabia. He mentions a find equal or greater than the pool presently providing two million barrels per day and that it could be easily extracted with minimal disruption to the environment or wildlife. This is at a location called Gull Island which is just off the shore at Prudhoe Bay. After discovery it was ordered to be capped off, not to be pursued. There is also the matter that natural gas by the trillions of cubic feet is returned to the ground instead of building a pipeline next to the current one and sending to America. He states that there are sufficient reserves to serve America for the next 200 years. He claims it could be completed in six months. I sincerely doubt the time schedule but not the fact that this gas could and should be extracted.
