I give this 3 cd set a 5 star rating because it's the great Janis Joplin we're talking about. However, Sony missed the boat with the Essential Janis Joplin Limited Edition 3.0 release. Instead of giving fans previously unreleased songs or rare gems and making this set really special, Sony chose to put six readily available songs on the third "bonus" disc. Those songs are 1) Call On Me 2) Combination Of The Two 3) Turtle Blues 4) Catch Me Daddy (Live) 5) As Good As You've Been To This World 6) Dear Landlord.
