He has written Supernatural episode guides for every season and is a regular interviewer for the Official Supernatural Magazine. He lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Eric Kripke is an award-winning writer, director, and producer best known for creating television’s Tarzan and Supernatural. In 2008, Television Week named him one of television’s “Masters of Horror.” He lives in Los Angeles.

I think from the title you could gather two things. One, that I'm a fan of the series and horray another piece of merch. Or Two: This bookw as just that damn good. It was both.

This book is for the DIE hard fans I can tell you now because of all the behind the scenes info and GEORGIOUS pictures. And included are insider references, and a guide of episodes/characters/actors and goes all the way up to season 7 (we at the time of this review are airing Season 8).

It is an expensive and LARGE book. hard cover with a jacket. When removing the beautiful cover jacket, you can see a simple yet fitting old fashioned bound book facade of the actual cover in a brownish color. You will need to make room on a tall shelf to accomidate it, unless you intend to put it on the coffee table.
The book is like all of the companion books in that it gives you details about the show as well as the true insider knowledge. It is just detailed and very well put together.

A VERY VERY special bonus is that there are things in there for the reader to take out. Such as these little "postcard" type photos of the cast. However, they are SO glued in that even though they are intended to come out, DON'T. I've already ripped on of the pictures in the book and dented the card. It is better to just carefully lift them up to see what is underneath rather than try to take them out. Then there are the easily recognized insider jokes carried out in things like a religious air freshner in a tiny bag for us in the Impala chapter, a folder of book cover posters that CAN be taken out and hung up from Carver "Chuck" Elund, and at the VERY back, a poster of the road map of Sam and Dean.

I know that I've taken away some of the surprises but I felt that I needed to because someone might make the same mistake I did in trying to remove some of these cards and thus damageing their book. Besides, where are you going to end up putting them?

Over all, this was AMAZING. It really, really shows dedication to the fans (read the intro by Eric Kripke I swear it is great!) and what we like/want. I was impressed and it is one of my treasures. I may honestly buy a second book to take all the cool stuff out of it ^^

This is an excellent book for any Supernatural fan. I ordered this expecting a basic coffee table book with a few obligatory blurbs praising everyone involved with the show and some pretty pictures. You get that the blurbs and yes, the pretty pictures, too, but you get much more than that as well! Included throughout the book are little 'extras' that were a pleasant surprise--a mini car air freshener, two sheets of sticker decals featuring symbols and logos featured on the show (like for Plucky Pennywhistle's!), several mini-posters of the Carver Edlund book covers as seen in Season 5, a map with places the boys have been--and more. The book itself is large, too, so you're not peering at the pictures trying to make anything out. Overall I was very pleasantly surprised with the book and look forward to paging through and discovering each and every hidden goodie inside.

I just got this book today and was totally blown away as soon as I opened it. It's very interesting and entertaining. Lots of beautiful color photos and very informative seasonal chapters loaded with removable surprises(personally I'm keeping the book intact). Any Supernatural fan is going to really enjoy adding this to their collection. I know I am. A very well done book!
