This is an awesome compilation although it only has twelve tracks and not sixteen like the 1997 release of ANTHOLOGY. But ANTHOLOGY doesn't have CRYIN' IN THE RAIN from 1980's ONE EIGHTY. I recently realized that it sounds like a Kiss recording. There are two ROAD ISLAND(from 1982) tracks,FOR OPENERS(WELCOME HOME) and HOW CAN YOU LOVE ME?. HOLDIN' ON TO YESTERDAY from Ambrosia's 1975 self-titled debut is a beautiful piece. And of course, there are the band's most famous pieces,HOW MUCH I FEEL from 1978's LIFE BEYOND L.A.,and also from ONE EIGHTY,BIGGEST PART OF ME and YOU'RE THE ONLY WOMAN. The other songs are great.

this collection is nice and the liner notes are on point. they had a handful of big hits and those hits still hit and the story telling is still on point and i like the hybrid sound they had. pop, country with some gospel harmony thrown in their. one of those sets that gives you an even bigger appreciation for their music.

Ambrosia had only four good slow songs but they were very memorable from the early 80s. Not a must-have but a nice-to-have.

I forgot what a great band they were. More songs I remembered. This was a great moment in music history.
