Book Description

August 15, 2008
Diego Viteri has lived for centuries with only one real goal, to avenge himself against the one who destroyed the man that he was and created the creature he is now. He is suffering a growing loneliness that is becoming impossible to ignore. His only reason for not ending his life is to see that Brakka is served his justice and then, Diego can rest. The last thing he is expecting is to have an encounter with a human woman who is willing to jump between himself and Brakka during a harsh and bloody battle. Their one meeting changes everything for Diego, bringing to life emotions and wants that he has long believed to be as dead as he is. As he follows Titania and her band, his needs reshape into something that he can't ignore. Before he knows what he has done, he bonds with her and sets into motion the very thing he swore he would never do to another person. He has shared his curse and in the process may have very well killed her. And there is only one choice to be made to try to save her.

More About the Author

With more than half a dozen ebooks currently to her credit and her first print book released in 2008 to rave reviews, Diana Castilleja has kept busy since she started writing professionally in late 2004.

Diana currently resides in central Texas with her husband and son. When not focusing her energy on her family and her writing, she loves to travel and haunt bookstores. She's lived in several states across the south and midwest, as well as traveling to Mexico. With moving every year or changing schools since the fourth grade to her sophomore year, she learned reading was a fast escape. The freedom to read about anything and everything has fueled her adult imagination. She is most likely currently sitting at her desk, having it out with her keyboard writing her next book.

Titania is a singer with a special gift. She has the gift of empathy. Not only can she sense others feelings, she can project her feelings through her music. She uses her talent for good, giving what people need to heal. However, her gift also drains her. At one of her concerts she senses an overwhelming feeling of hate from one of the patrons. She knows she must find this man and help him before someone is hurt. She never thought reaching out to save Diego Viteri would change her life forever.

Diego Viteri is a vampire, who hates what he is and vows to never subject another soul to his way of life. He never wanted Titania to be involved in his quest, but by putting herself in harms way, she is now a target. Diego will do all he can to keep her safe, but will it be enough when he may be the threat?

Diego and Titania find they are drawn to each other as if their lives were destined to cross, but before they can find out if they can make this relationship work, Diego will have to put his past to rest.

Ms. Castilleja tale is heartwarming as Diego and Titania learn to trust each other and their love begins to flourish into a steamy romance.I also liked Ms. Castilleja's secondary character: Houston, the mysterious Alpha male and Laney, Titania's back up singer and good friend. They all work together to put a stop to the danger lurking to destroy them all. You won't want to put this book down!

The Eternal Kiss April 8, 2010
By M. Nix
Format:Paperback
Titania has a talent that allows her to spread emotion through her singing - and when she goes all out, people walk out of her concerts full of hope and positive energy. However, the same talent that allows her to project her emotions also allows her to "feel" others emotions as well. When one night she is almost laid flat by a storm of negative emotion, Titania can't help but to reach out and try to stop what she knows is coming - death. But once she enters into the fray she discovers that she has walked into a battle between two men who have hated each other for longer than she can comprehend and unwittingly become a pawn in their game. Dare she trust the man that seems to be good, despite what she "felt" from him?

Diego Viteri has survived centuries of despising what he was made into and loneliness with the goal of killing the man that made him into what he is - a vampire. However, when he crosses paths with Titania Diego begins to realize that being a vampire might not be all bad, especially if he can share eternity with her. As danger follows Titania, Diego is willing to risk everything in order to keep her safe and happy. But will Titania still want him when she discovers what he is?

The Eternal Kiss is a vampire romance that follows along the lines of Christine Feehan's Carpathian vampire series with a dark and nearly hopeless hero and an independent, strong-willed heroine. Diego is all that a broody vampire should be, with his goals of revenge against his maker and uncertainty about his future once that is accomplished. Titania as a woman was difficult to understand as she continually made decisions to assert her independence that defied common-sense. When these two come together it sets off an explosion of passion that is difficult to ignore and will have you sweating in no time. However, Titania's constant incomprehensible behavior and the overabundance of clichés regarding vampires made several points in the story tedious and cumbersome to get through. Still, as a whole The Eternal Kiss is an entertaining read that will serve as a good distraction on a lazy summer day.
