From the Inside Flap

Have you ever wanted more from life? More money? More freedom? For many people, starting a business is one of the best ways to achieve both wealth and the personal goals that you have set for yourself. Most of us want to become entrepreneurs at some point, but we lack confidence in our ability to run a business. The truth is, though, that you can start your own company. Jaime Tardy explains in The Eventual Millionaire: How Anyone Can Be an Entrepreneur and Successfully Grow Their Startup that money is not the true key to happiness, but it is something that you can accumulate along your journey toward a fulfilling and rewarding lifestyle.

Throughout the pages of this book you will learn how to take control of your money and your lifestyle, find work about which you are passionate, overcome your fears and excuses, start a viable business on the right foot, and keep moving forward despite the obstacles that will inevitably arise. A highly regarded business coach who has interviewed over 120 millionaires, Tardy has used the insight she has gained from these successful professionals to create a resource that will teach you how to look at your work and your life from a new perspective—and how to achieve financial independence and happiness by doing work that you truly enjoy.

Entrepreneurs start their own companies for a wide range of reasons, and nearly all of them are looking for the freedom and flexibility that business ownership has to offer. Regardless of why you want to start your own company, it is important that you understand how to make it a success. Tardy shares the various kinds of success—both personal and professional—that you will achieve as you build your business. With the insight that she provides in The Eventual Millionaire, you can prepare for the challenges, triumphs, and excitement of entrepreneurship.

Just so you know right off the bat, this book gets an automatic 2 star reduction from me for the countless spelling and grammatical errors. When I began reading, I dismissed the errors in the first chapter thinking that it would get better. However, it seems that nobody proofread this book, and the errors are very noticeable. Does it affect the content? No. But to me, it majorly disrupts the flow. When I'm reading about how to become successful, I would like my source to at least use the correct vocabulary and punctuation. In a blog post, Amazon review, or any other informal writing, I don't get bothered- but in a published book about success, I find it a bit unprofessional.

I have listened to a handful of Eventual Millionaire podcasts. I am a part-time freelance designer, also working a full-time job, and I have dreams of running my own business. I am not pushing to make that dream a reality right this minute, but I'm taking the time and doing what I can to acquire all of the knowledge and resources I can beforehand. I always enjoy listening to advice of people who have been there, but sometimes I find the interviews on Eventual Millionaire far too long. I always wish I could just take out the useful parts and learn from them all- that's where I hoped this book would come into play.

Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. While there are mentions of other Millionaires and various quotes from their interviews, most of the book does not revolve around that. The book begins with a very long section on how Jaime was in debt, how she saved a little money at a time to get out of debt, and how you can do it too. For me, this wasn't applicable to my life, so I skipped ahead.

Jaime Tardy in her new book “The Eventual Millionaire” will escort you to the cocktail party of your lifetime. Imagine walking into a room lavish with a huge group of very successful millionaires willing to share their most inner secrets about life and business. Not the arrogant, manipulative stuffy types you might imagine millionaires to be, but conversely very down to earth terrific human beings that enjoy life and enjoy sharing their stories and giving back. Jaime Tardy has assembled these folks in one room to meet YOU “The Eventual Millionaire” . If this book doesn’t ignite the entrepreneur within you to take your business or idea to the next level no book will. So lucky to get an advance copy...

After beeing a loyal fan of Jaimes podcast, I really looked forward to her book - and just like expected: it is good combination of both inspiration and hands-on practical tips for reaching your goals.

In Jaimes words, beeing an Eventual Millionaire is not (just) about the money, but rather the wish do something more. And if you do that in the right way, the money can and will follow. Money that will buy you freedom and a possability to change the world for the better.

In difference to many other books on entrepreneurship, the book doesn't try to show you a single silver bullet to get rich quick. Instead it gives you a toolbox of both mindset tools and practical tools for business planning, marketing and sales. I think its a good starting point for people who wants to make a difference!

I’ve been watching Jaime’s podcasts for a long time. The interviews that she takes, the questions she asks, and the way she is able to get the most valuable insights from her guests has been extremely beneficial.

This book accurately describes something that is reflected in her videos. It is the mindset and thought process of millionaires that needs to be understood. She does not provide a get-rich-quick method, but something much better. She encapsulates the mindset of top performers and provides it to the reader in an easy to understand format.

Highly recommend!

First, let me say that I have been a huge fan of Jamie’s blog, eventualmillionaire.com, for some time now. So getting the opportunity to be one of the first to read The Eventual Millionaire was quite a treat. The book was just what I had expected, a call to action in consciously planning one’s life for success; and eventually becoming a millionaire.

The book was an easy read, which allows the reader to enjoy the journey in discovering a new way in thinking about becoming a millionaire, eventually. The outline of the book allows the reader to choose how to absorb the information within the book, either sequentially or on a chapter on demand basis. If you are familiar with Jamie’s blog, there are no surprises to the tone and pace in which this book has been written. And if you are not… [...]
The author does a brilliant job of synthesizing the data from over 100+ interviewees who are self-made millionaires and identifies key tips, tactics and tools which one can utilize to reach their personal and professional best. One of the gems within this book is Chapter 9, Stories of Millionaires before They Were Millionaires. Read it!

I have read similar books within the genre of self-help, motivational, etc. What differentiates this book from others like it is that the author is not trying to sell you a get rich quick strategy like most books. Rather she wants to expose you to the psychology of millionaires and the stories behind their success. Most people at one point in time or another falsely believed that the all the stars had to be properly aligned in order to achieve success. This is simply not true. And the author gives the readers a framework for goal setting as well, COVENANT; which is an improved version of the SMART system.
