This book is good for families with small children. The first four chapters are nothing but etiquette about pregnancy, birth, infants, and toddlers. The rest of the book seems to be mostly about how to teach your children good manners.

If you're looking for a general good etiquette book, this is not it.

Format: Paperback
Although first the four chapters are about being etiquette during pregnancy, raising kids gracefully and teaching children good manners, this book has lot more than that. Such as having etiquette during dinner, being socially proper and having manners when dating. This book has 22 chapters and cover each of them very thoroughly. The chapters go like this:

1. Being Proper During Pregnancy
2.The Well-Mannered New Parent
3.The Etiquette of Infants and Babies
4.Raising Civil Children
5.Manners at Home
6.The Social Graces on Being Social
7.Dining Out Decorum
8.Dating Demeanor
9.How to Behave While doing Business
10.The E-tiquette of Technology
11.The Genteel Traveler
12.Manners of Transportation
13.Etiquette from Around the World
14.Being a Good Neighbor
15.Entertaining Etiquette
16.Holiday Demeanor
17.Genteel Gift Giving
18.The Protocol with Pets
19.Being Polite on Paper
20.What You Need to Know About Weddings
21.Dealing Delicately with Illness and Death
22.Miscellaneous Manners

I would recommend this to ANYONE. It is a very sad thing that proper etiquette is almost lost in today's world, but this book does an amazing job of recreating it and has taught me many things I use everyday! For just $15.77 do yourself a favor and buy this book.
