Yeah! Norm is here! This episode of Fairly OddParents is my favorite! Yeah, good ol' Norm the Genie tries to be a fairy instead of a genie. I like him as a genie only.

I've been a big fan of Fairly Oddparents from the very beginning and this was one of my favorite episodes. I love that Norm MacDonald voices Norm the Genie. He's perfect for the role and he does a great job! Also, American Idol's Diana Degarmo, the runner up in season 3, makes a guest voice appearance as Cosmo's singing voice, which is hilarious. She's got a beautiful voice but seeing it come out of Cosmo is so funny. There are two extra episodes on the disk, I wish there were more. But, you get two hours of Fairly Oddparents entertainment so I think it's worth it, especially since they don't really show this on TV much anymore considering it's a one hour special. I'd recommend it to any Fairly Oddparents fan, though I think fans of Norm MacDonald or Diana Degarmo would enjoy it as well.

A Kid's Review on September 1, 2011
Format: DVD
A great DVD for FOP fans. Here we will go to the DVD info. First up is "Fairy Idol" (the 4-part special) in which the genie, Norm gets very tired of being the lamp genie so he wants to be a fairy godparent. He decides to take rid of Cosmo and Wanda in a competition called Fairy Idol, but will it work? Maybe if Norm is zipped away to La, la land then Timmy might his godparents back. And there's two bonus episodes. First one is "Truth or Cosmoquences" in which Cosmo and Wanda have a high-school reunion, and it seems that Cosmo told everyone that he's the richest person in the fairy universe. Now Timmy and Wanda have to play the parts of secretary and servant while Timmy has a full bladder and needs to go to the bathroom urgently. The last one is in "Timmy TV" in which Timmy goes to fairly world and once he's there he finds out that he is on a reality show called "Timmy TV". Now, the producers want to take rid of his godparents and parents, and Timmy has to find a solution. Also included in this DVD are three "Oh Yeah! Cartoons" shorts, the first being in Scout's Honor in which Timmy goes in search of a mystical creature. The second is "The Really Bad Day" in which Cosmo seeks Vicky's help on the day that he is allowed to be bad. The last one, "Super Humor" finds Timmy wishing to become a super-hero, and he ends up fighting a 3-headed dragon in order to get back his parents. A great DVD for FOP fans.
