A series of letter from the Winter Prince Kian of Feyland to the Summer Queen Breena during the time of their separation. Their love was forbidden as Winter and Summer Fey are at war with each other. Promised to each other at birth during a brief interlude of peace between the warring fey, Kian and Breena have always known they were each other's destinies. Now grown they are now the brokers of peace. In order to broker peace between Winter and Summer Fey, however, Kian and Breena must sacrifice their love. But in doing so, they made a promise to each other. A promise Kian thought would never be broken. But it was... About the Author

Having traveled to over 25 countries, lived in the American South, in California, Las Vegas, and briefly in England; Kailin Gow feels blessed to be able to use her experiences and inspirations to bring characters and stories from the places she visit, to life.
From visiting Romania, she was asked to write stories about vampires; visiting the Black Forest in Germany and seeing the castles of Europe inspired her to write fantasy; visiting Asia's mystical mountains inspired her to write action adventure and mythological dystopians. From her experience in college as a peer counselor and her volunteer work with women's shelters, she was inspired to write contemporary romance with social issues for women, new adults, young adults, and teens. Having faced adversity, including battling stereotypes and bullying, Kailin Gow has become a well-known speaker and figure in media. Her adventurous bold spirit has taken her around the world, where she has ridden on top of elephants through jungles, hand-fed sting rays, studied kung fu from a Shaolin Temple monk, and learned cooking from a celebrity chef.

Compelled to write her first fiction book because of 9/11, Kailin Gow now has over 100 fiction books published with a handful of non-fiction books.

She has over 20 Series, written under Kailin Gow:

5.0 out of 5 stars The Fairy Letters is Fantastic!!! January 18, 2012
Format:Paperback
The Fairy Letters is what I've been waiting for in the Frost series. Kailin Gow has answered all my questions and given me so much more than I expected with Kian's letters to Breena. Kailin Gow is an awesome writer and storyteller. The Fairy Letters gives tremendous insight to how it all began with Breena and Kian's forbidden love when they were children, and the whole fairy history of Winter and Summer Court, plus how the bond between Breena's mother, Raine, and Kian's mother, the Winter Queen, started, and Kian's father's death. Also Breena's father's love for Raine, the Pixies, Realeaf's hatred for Raine, Shasta and Rodney's love for each other. I can't put everything into this review, but Kailin Gow leaves nothing unanswered, and give all the backstory to all the characters. What I loved most is finally seeing Kian's feelings and what he was going through during the time he and Breena were separated, when Kain gets the news that Breena and Logan are to be marry. This broke my heart. Kian the, Winter Prince, who never shows his feelings or emotions to expose his broken heart and eternal love for Breena, ripped my heart to pieces. The only thing that saved me here was I had read the next book Frost Kisses.

The Fairy Letters is a great addition in the Frost series that you don't want to miss out on. Kian's letters to Breena gives deep insight that I have been waiting for, and Kailin Gow has done an excellent job of bringing the history of all these characters in the Frost series to light. I highly recommend The Fairy Letters a must read

4.0 out of 5 stars Great addition to the series...a must read! December 28, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I will admit that I wasn't too sure about this series when I first started it but it really has grown on me with each new installment.

These letters are a great insight into not only Kian's feelings for Breena but also into Feyland itself. We get to hear some of the legends involving the Fey and the wolves as well as glimpses into the Summer and Winter Court and into Kian and Breena's childhood.

This really was a great addition to the series that adds a whole new level to everything that is happening.

I will admit that the letters towards the end started to break my heart a little though as I felt Kian's anguish over Breena's engagement.

I can't wait to see what book 5 will hold for them.
