This is the second album that King James has recorded. After leaving Christian hard rock band WhiteCross, Rex Carroll formed this band with lead singer Jim Bennett. King James never rocked as hard as WhiteCross, but Carroll's guitar work will have you remembering WhiteCross' glory days and even make you miss hearing Scott Wenzel's screaching vocals.
This album is only 4 stars because while Carroll's guitar work is well executed, it there is nothing ground breaking in these songs. Further, Jim Bennett's vocals do not fit well with the music - his vocals were poorly mixed causing his voice to stand out awkwardly on every track.
Jim Bennett / lead vocals
Rex Carroll / guitar and vocals
Scott Banks / bass and vocals
Dave Geer / Michael Feighan drummers
