Popa Chubby keeps on chuggin'. If you've listened to the big blues daddy's previous recordings, then you'll want to add "The Fight Is On" to your collection. If you're a Chubby virgin, this is as good a CD to start with as any, but I'm bettin' you'll want to hear more.

This is the 12th cd I have of Popa Chubby. They're all great, but I think this is his best so far!! His song writing is getting better all of the time, and his guitar playing is just plain awesome!! Why this guy isn't astronomically famous is beyond me! Anyway, if you want to hear a guitar player play power blues and rock and freakin' roll, buy this cd. You won't be disappointed!

First off i have about 5 of Popa Chubby's and 2 dvd's so yes i am a fan. On to the review this to me one of his harder rockin cd's he's still got the blue's but he is on fire with his guitar. This is a must have for any Chubby fan. As alway's one of the thing's i like best about Popa Chubby is his lyric's he is one of a kind and a man not to be messed with.The song The fight is on is right up there with i'll piss on your grave in the as i like to call Chubby's i will kick your ass lyric's. As you can see i am rambling but buy this cd and enjoy. As a matter of fact if you like hard rockin blues and a man who is his own man you should listen to all of his cd's including his dvd's which i hope he put's a new one out with his recent stuff. ON A FINAL NOTE POPA COME TO PHOENIX PLEASE. This had nothing to do with the review i just hope if he read's it and he will come because if you have a chance to see him and don't that will be your loss because he is one of the best guitar player's today no doubt.
