4.0 out of 5 stars Finder, we'll miss you May 15, 2012
By Pat K
I have to say that I absolutely hated the "preview" Finder got within last year's Bones season. It was truly a mess. Having said that, I've really gotten into the series this year and love the quirkiness of the characters and how aspects of the characters from the original novel were brought out. Finder beame fun and enjoyable and I find it a real shame that this show was cancelled while crap like Bob's Burgers was renewed.

5.0 out of 5 stars I really like this show April 8, 2012

Its not really challenging any new ground, but its is imminently enjoyable. Each character is just a bit quirky. Its openly sentimental, which normally annoys me, especially with religion, but somehow they pull it off.

Mostly I love the quirky. The character Willa makes a marvelous audience to Walter's oddity.
The best friend/manager, Leo is the undisguised sentimentalist, who makes it OK that Walter is more than just a little bit odd.
And then there is Walter. He's odd. Good Looking, Sexy and definitely a bit wrong.
The only forgettable character is Walter's romantic interest, a US Marshall. The character is just a cookie cutter of strong professional woman, which is, alas, not very interesting in TV. They need to inject her with something interesting - a tragedy, a sense of humor, a bitchy sarcastic mouth, something....
Its a good show. I hope the idiots at the networks don't cancel it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved this show why was it cancelled? May 17, 2012
I loved this show for its quirky characters and original plot lines. Unfortunately the network did not give it enough time to take off as a series. I watch it on Hulu where it gets great ratings and good reviews. Loved it because not every story line involved a murder. This allowed the writers to do new things and introduce some novel characters. The same thing happened to another great show I was able to catch on Hulu....Endgame. Why do we get endless receptions of dorky reality TV dreck and so few well written and fun shows like The Finder? I curse you Network TV for being so short sighted! I hope the Khardasians all have eight kids each and go live on a shrimp boat at your expense.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent show, why no disc version?
The Finder had some of the best characters, with unique issues and histories, on TV. So of course it was cancelled. The Finder joined Firefly as a Fox show that died far too early. Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Very entertaining.
I liked it. My wife didn't. It has some action and a lot of humor that passed her by. But all in all, I hope they come out with another season.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great chemistry between actors.
GOOD MIX OF A QUIRKY DETECTIVE AND HIS ENTOURAGE OF STRANGE, BUT ENDEARING COLLEAGUES MADE THIS SERIES JUST PLAIN FUN TO WATCH.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Finder is DA BOMB!
Really want it on DVD... because I don't want to pay for digital content that is then slowed down because of an internet connection.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun
The female bartender feels a bit forced, but it was a fun show to watch. I had trouble getting it to play on my Kindle Fire for some reason, though.
