We bought this and it's relatively quiet and works well. HOWEVER, the replacement filters are not available online or in any stores near us. The filter got disgusting very quickly (which is to be expected) but now this humidifier is totally useless to us.

DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU ARE SURE YOU CAN FIND FILTERS FOR THIS.

We've gone through so many humidifiers through the years and this is the best one. The noise level is barely audible, we've had no problems with the mist not working, and it is easy to clean and fill. You definitely can't go wrong with this humidifier!

I went through several humidifiers and liked this one because the fan is just loud enough to help me sleep through my husband's snoring. Hard to find filters (try [...] . Now the cap that filters in water is broken and the water just leaks out of the unit. Can't find parts anywhere.

The humidifier works well but I wish I would have checked the availability of the filters. I can't find them anywhere and the filter after a few weeks of use is already disgusting (mold). Basically, I have bought a humidifer that I can't use until I can get some direction on where to find the darn replacement filters. Do not buy without purchasing filters.

If you're like me and need to see mist to know its working then don't buy this item. I assumed from the red cross name that I would be getting a great item, however after 1 use, I wasn't too impressed. It's very loud on both settings, and as I said before, there is no mist. I returned it after 1 use. Whether, it made a difference, I really don't know after 1 use, but I wasn't willing to put up with the loud volume. The search for a great humidifier still continues...

The humidifier is loud, not what I wanted for nighttime use. But otherwise works fine.
